Lesson 1

Wingardium Leviosa Lesson is the first lesson in LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4. It takes place during the Level Prelude of the Out of the Dungeon level.

Walkthrough[]

Here, you will witness a cutscene and then you will be expected to master the Wingardium Leviosa spell that you used as Hagrid during the opening scenes of the game. On-screen instructions will remind you of the controls to use, if you need them. Your lesson itself requires you to use the spell on three key items in the room. The first is a cylindrical device along the right wall. Your magic will cause a mechanical arm to lift it up and free the first of the three students. Head left and look towards the back wall. There is a mural that shows some pieces stacked on top of each other in a certain way. You must duplicate that image using the pieces provided, also green and blue. Then place them as shown in the image to create a ladder for you to go up and to the right, to a balcony. There, use your wand on the painting on the back wall and it will throw some debris onto the floor. Use that debris and your Wingardium Leviosa spell to assemble another hand along the wall. You can then use your magic to place another cylinder inside of it, freeing another student. That leaves just one more student pending. Head to the right and you will find a small pedestal with part of a statue resting on it. The statue is purple. You need to assemble the statue. The pieces are lying on the ground nearby, so glue the torso first, and then the head. Then place the nearby spear inside the statue's arms as well. Finally, use your magic to lift the nearby cylindrical weight. It should rise for a while and your statue will throw its spear into the wall to keep the weight in place. That will allow the end of the three students to fall safely onto the balcony.

You will now permanently learn the Wingardium Leviosa spell.
