Where's Mr. Waggles? is the second mission of LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins. It is the second mission to take place in Cherry Tree Hills.

- Deputy Dunby: [By phone] McCain, we have a report of a missing pet. Go and investigate. I'll put a waypoint on your map.
I'll find Mr. Waggles[]
- [Chase meets a Dog Owner, who is crying]
- Chase McCain: Hi there, what seems to be the problem?
- Dog Owner: It's...it's Mr. Waggles, my dog. He's gone missing!
- Chase McCain: [He takes out a magnifying glass] Don't worry, sir. I'll find him for you!

- [The camera zooms in on Doorlock, who is inside a dumpster]
- Chase McCain: I should look around the back and see what I can find.

- [When Chase approach Doorlock, he comes out of the dumpster]
- Doorlock Homes: The name's Doorlock Homes. Pleased to make your acquaintance. I specialize in finding clues, so Chief felt that I may be of assistance. Let's gather some clues and find our canine friend. [He goes ahead] Stand on the point and press A to activate Detective Mode. Follow the trail, and see where those footprints lead.

- Doorlock Homes: A shirt. Let's see what the label says. "Property of the Knuckles Gang." It's all pointing to the Knuckles Gang having poor Mr. Waggles! Oh, look! There's an address on this label, too. I'll mark it on your map. Head over there, and see what you can find.

Mission Prelude[]
After completing the previous mission, a designated location will appear in The Police Station parking lot. Go to it to start this mission.
Mission Walkthrough[]
When you start the mission, Dunby will call you to report that a pet is missing. Get into someone else's vehicle and go to the designated place that will appear in the north of Cherry Tree Hills. When you get there, you will meet a Dog Owner, who will tell you that his dog, Mr. Waggles, has gone missing. Then, you will see a cutscene where Doorlock Homes will be inside a dumpster. Approach him and he will tell you that to find Waggles, you will have to start using Detective Mode. Go to the designated place that appears and press the A button to use Detective Mode. Follow the footprints to a doghouse to find a bone. Doorlock will tell you that you found Waggles' bone, indicating that this is his house. Destroy an umbrella in the center to build a trampoline. Jump on the trampoline to reach the blue poles above and swing between them to reach the ledge above. Press the A button on another designated place and follow the footprints until you find a shirt. Doorlock will appear and tell you that the label says "Property of the Knuckles Gang", implying that the Knuckles Gang has Waggles. Use the railings on the right to cross the wall and return to the street. Go to the mansion west of the owner's house. Since the gate is closed, go to the east building and use some handholds on the south wall to reach the roof. Then, use a scan point to find Waggles and scan him. After scanning him, Doorlock will call you on the phone, telling you to go get him. Use a zipline to the right to cross the closed gate and reach the mansion's courtyard. Next, go to the south wall of the mansion and climb up a drainpipe to reach the first ledge. Jump to the walkway on the right, continue right and climb up some handholds. Move right, jump to the east balcony of the mansion and press the A button near a dog cage to free Waggles. After that, you'll see a cutscene where Chase returns Waggles to the owner. With that, the mission will be completed and you will unlock the Scanner, which will allow you to scan collectibles.
