Walls Have Ears is the fifth mission of LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins. It is the fifth mission to take place in Cherry Tree Hills.

- Deputy Dunby: [By phone] McCain, Booster has informed us of a hideout at the apartments, where some of the gang are gathered. Go and see what information you can dig up there.

Walkthrough[]
Mission Prelude[]
After completing the previous mission, Dunby will call you to inform you about a hideout in the apartments. Hop into someone else's vehicle and head to the designated place that will appear on the east side of the southwest apartments to begin this mission.
Mission Walkthrough[]
As you start the mission, you'll see a cutscene of a couple of goons arguing on the upper balcony. The walkie-talkie you obtained in the previous mission will allow you to listen to secret conversations. Stand in front of the door near you and press the A button to place a wiretap. While you are using your walkie-talkie, move your Nintendo 3DS to move the pulsing signal. Try to get the signal to the center to listen to the secret conversation. You will hear two goons talking about Booster Strange's arrest. After listening to the conversation, use a railing ahead to cross the fence. Two goons will notice you and recognize you as the cop who busted the job at the car showroom. Fight them using your combat skills and arrest them. After defeating them, destroy a green trash container to build a blue and white wall. Climb it, jump to a handhold to reach the next floor and climb a blue drainpipe to reach the balcony where the first two goons that you saw in the opening scene of this mission were. Use your wiretap on another door to listen to the next conversation. You'll hear two other goons talking about how Tony plans to take over Cherry Tree Hills, and that stealing Mr. Waggles was a bad idea. After listening to the conversation, go right and destroy an air conditioner to build a blue trampoline. Jump on the trampoline to reach the next balcony and use your wiretap on the next door to listen to the next conversation. You will hear two other goons talking about a bank robbery. After listening to the conversation, climb a drain pipe and three Knuckles Goons will notice you. Fight them using your combat skills and arrest them. After defeating them, go southwest and jump down to the next balcony to find a final door. Place your wiretap there and listen to the last conversation. You'll hear two goons talking about Jimmy and his bank robbery. When you finish listening to this conversation, the mission will be completed.
