Tortuga is the second level of LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game. It is the second level of The Curse of the Black Pearl.
Story[]
Will Turner learns from Mr. Gibbs that Jack Sparrow was the captain of the Black Pearl before Captain Barbossa staged a mutiny and abandoned him on an island. The trio then recruit Marty, Anamaria, and Cotton into the crew.
Walkthrough[]
You start on a dock. Enter the port and take the torch (it's next to the door). Return to the dock and use the torch and cannon. Shoot the door in front of you.
In the market, find two wheels and mount them on the cart (one is near the well and the other is near the wall). Feed the horse a green apple (you can find it next to the well) and use the animal's strength to push the cart away. Go to the next area on the right.
In the next area, approach the sleeping Mr. Gibbs and destroy the large, glowing chest. Build a shelf with it and wait until the objects fall. Then, take the winch, connect it with the mechanism and use it. Go down the ladder grabbing the green bar and then go up. Take the wooden bowl and place it on the green floor panel next to the pool of water. Use the nearby switch with your sword. Take the bowl full of water and go down. Spill it over Mr. Gibbs, waking him up. Use Mr. Gibbs' hammer to repair the mechanism next to the door leading to the previous area.
Returning to the previous area, use Mr. Gibbs to repair the market stove. Take the torch and use the explosives on the way to the dock.
Go to the basement and at the end of the tunnel use Jack's compass to find a pistol. You can dig it up using the nearby shovel and give the pistol to the pirate on the left. Marty will join your team. Switch towards him and enter the vent in the wall. On the other side shoot the silver bricks. Go back to the main room and use the pistol once again - aim at the silver junk which falls down on the right. Use the stairs to enter the room full of people having a good time.
Then use Mr. Gibbs to repair the machine by the wall. You can climb up using the chandeliers - start with the one on the very right and jump to the others grabbing the green bars. Then take the passage in front of you.
Anamaria will agree to accompany you if you give her the object that falls from the large brown dresser. Anamaria can double jump, so you can lower two blinds (the locations are indicated by the colored elements on the ground).
Go outside and use the green bars to jump over the rooftops. Go to the end of the balcony and drop the rectangular chest. Jump to the market and take the music box to the indicated place (green floor panel). Get inside the building.
Move the chest on the left and go up to the balcony. Attack an enemy pirate by fighting the parrot. Follow the bird and go to the other side (using the plank). At the end you will have to jump over the chandelier. When the parrot returns to Cotton, you will need to return to the first area and get on the boat. That way you will finish the level.
Collectables[]
S means that the collectible can be obtained both in Story and in Free Play. F means the collectible can only be obtained in Free Play.
- Minikit Bottles
- (F) At the beginning of the level, turn right and remove the door with the orange bar as a super strength character (like Blackbeard). Enter a new area. Go to the dock and repair the mechanism using a character with a hammer like Mr. Gibbs. Build the switch using the bricks. Take it to the green floor panel. Activate it using the character with a sword (such as Jack Sparrow). After that, a boat will come out and this minikit will appear.
- (F) After the boat from the previous minikit arrives, get on it and go left following the algae in the water. On the island, use a digging character to unearth three items that you must assemble. Destroy the objects on the left to find the torch and use it to scare away the tentacles holding the cannon. Move the cannon to the platform and shoot at the targets with X to get this minikit.
- (F) In the part of the level where you found the previous minikit, use an explosive character to destroy the silver rocks blocking the entrance to the cave on the left. Behind them, you will find this minikit.
- (F) In the area where Mr. Gibbs wakes up, use a digging character on the right (next to the pig). That way, you will find this minikit.
- (F) In the main courtyard, open the door in front of you using Blackbeard's sword (the door with a particular seal). Behind that door, you'll need to use a hook and swing with the rope to ring the church bells to get this minikit.
- (F) In this level you can find three sets of fireworks to shoot:
- The first is in the room on the left side of the main courtyard (you must open the door as a super strength character or using the horse).
- The second one is in the right part of the courtyard - behind the silver chest near the pigs (use an explosive character to destroy the chest).
- The third one is behind the courtyard door that Blackbeard can open (see the description of the fifth minikit). You'll need to first reveal it with Jack Sparrow's compass and then dig it up with a digging character before you can turn them on.
- (F) You can find it in the underground tunnel (but you must destroy the entrance first). At the beginning of the tunnel, use a super strength character (like Blackbeard) to pull the orange bar. Climb down using the rope and dive (using a diving character like Bootstrap Bill Turner) to find this minikit.
- (S) It's in the building the tunnel leads to. Jump over the three chandeliers and look for the small cell on the left - destroy the silver grate using an explosive character to find this minikit.
- (S) In the courtyard, use a female character to jump over the green bars and get to the left. On the balcony, go left and climb the ladder to reach the roof. On that roof you will find this minikit.
- (F) In the building where you meet Cotton, use Syrena's power to destroy the glass shelf on the right (it glows).

- (F) You can find this item in the area of the first minikit. Use Jack's compass to find it.

- (S) This item is found in the second area of the level. (It is necessary to grab it to feed the horse.)

- (S) This item can be found in the third area while trying to wake up Mr. Gibbs. (It is necessary to complete the level.)
- Fireworks
- (F) In the area of the fifth minikit, stand on a symbol on the ground and use Jack's compass to follow the studs that will lead you to this item.

- (S) You discover this item automatically as Marty joins your crew. (It is necessary to complete the level.)
- Shovel
- (S) This item is located on the left side of the fourth area. (It is necessary to complete the level.)
- Guitar
- (S) This item is located at the bottom left of the fifth area. Use Jack's compass to find it.
- Ruby
- (S) You discover this item automatically as Anamaria joins your crew. (It is necessary to complete the level.)

Unlockables[]
The minikit model in this level is a Minikit Ship 2. After completing the level, you unlock Mr. Gibbs (unless you have completed Pelegosto, The Maelstrom or London Town), Marty (unless you have completed The Kraken or Davy Jones' Locker), Anamaria (unless you have completed The Kraken or The Maelstrom) and Cotton. In The Port you will be able to continue to The Black Pearl Attacks.
