The Riddler's Revenge is the first hero episode in LEGO Batman: The Videogame.
Story[]
After The Riddler and Clayface enter the Gotham Merchants Bank, Batman and Robin heard the bank's emergency and went there. They manage to arrest Clayface, but the Riddler tries to escape with the key. Batman tries to catch him but Clayface gives his friend a helping hand with his foot. This allows the Riddler to escape with Two-Face in his truck. Batman puts a tracker on the truck and discovers that the box the Riddler left behind was small bricks. Clayface is taken to Arkham Asylum.
Batman and Robin arrived at the Snowy Cones Ice Cream Factory, there they see that someone froze two Police Marksmen and they go inside to find the culprit. They then find out that the culprit for freezing those cops was Mr. Freeze. He then tries to escape, but Batman throws a Batarang at his thrusters and he flies away. The Riddler, seeing his fallen partner, tickles him to get up and then the heroes follow him. Mr. Freeze tries to get up but the Batarang knocks him unconscious. The Riddler leaves the same box for Batman and Robin and runs off with Two-Face. Robin looks at the box and shakes it, thinking that if they put all the boxes together it will tell them where the villains went. Since Mr. Freeze is unconscious, this allows the police to take him to Arkham Asylum.
The Riddler and Two-Face are calm until they realize that a Police Helicopter is coming. They try to escape in the truck, but are stopped by Commissioner Gordon. The Riddler calls his goons to fight the police. Batman and Robin arrive and send the goons to prison with the help of their ground vehicles. They then destroy Two-Face's truck and he flees. The Riddler then escapes thanks to the help of Poison Ivy. He then drops the box and Robin grabs it. Batman then grabs a leaf assuming it was Poison Ivy who helped him.
Batman and Robin went to the Batcave to find out where that leaf came from. Batman then puts it in the Batcomputer and they discover that it came from the Botanic Gardens. The heroes then go there and fight the monster plants until they come across Poison Ivy. They then defeat her and Robin tries to forgive her, but she then gets up and hypnotizes him, but Batman throws a Batarang at her to knock her unconscious. The Riddler tries to escape using a flowerpot, but Batman discovers him and escapes with Two-Face's truck already rebuilt and leaves behind another box. Robin loses the hypnotization and he pays the Riddler for it. The cops then take Poison Ivy to Arkham Asylum while she is unconscious.
In the Batcave, Robin opens all the boxes and builds the Eiffel Tower, but Batman destroys it, implying that it wasn't the right place. He then builds another place that Robin doesn't know what it is, but Alfred types into the Batcomputer and shows the Gold Reserve, hinting that this was the right place. The heroes then head there and meet up with the Riddler and Two-Face. Two-Face then confronts them and destroys a lid to release acid, but Batman and Robin cross it thanks to the help of a ship and he escapes. While the Riddler and Two-Face thought they had done their job, Batman and Robin find them and after a huge fight, they defeat them and gold falls on them. Robin celebrates victory, but Batman tells him to stop. The Riddler and Two-Face are then taken to Arkham Asylum.
With the Riddler's Group imprisoned, Clayface makes dough, Mr. Freeze plays with dolls, Poison Ivy waters plants, Two-Face drops a coin, and the Riddler swears revenge. Batman and Robin take a tour of the city with their ground vehicles.
