The Restricted Section is the fourth level from LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4. It is the fourth level of The Sorcerer's Stone.

Level Prelude[]
The Quidditch Stands[]
Return to Hogwarts and follow Nearly Headless Nick. If you haven't repaired the bridge in the previous Level Prelude, repair it with Wingardium Leviosa to get to the Hogwarts gate.
Hogwarts[]
Upon returning to Hogwarts, a cutscene will play. When you finish watching the scene, you will appear in House Hallway. Go to the Gryffindor Dormitory - wave at the painting to open the passage to this level.
Level Walkthrough[]
Hogwarts Library[]
At the begining of the level there is a student trapped by Devil Snare inside the trunk of the tree. Rescue him using your Lumos Solem spell (white spell) for extra bonus studs at the end of the level.
What do you do at the Forbidden Library with the invisibility cloak? If you can’t find the third potion ingredient, which is blue and looks like an ice lolly, the answer is: To get the blue ice lolly ingredient use the stand on the yellow book and your co-op buddy will levitate you upwards. Now jump up onto the left hand ledge and break the ice wall between the two bookcases. This wil reveal the secret area with the lolly.
All potion ingredients recap:
- There are two giant wizard-like statues, by using Wingardium Leviosa you make the hands lift up. Stand on it and the computer or the person you are playing with will lift them up. Burst through the wall on one side (the one without the plants) to get the first one which is some blue thing.
- Then smash the plants on the other side to get the second one, which is a bunch of flowers.
- Then on that same side (with the plants) there is a book shelf. Hit this and it falls over revealing the third ingredient, which is a spider.
Once you've put all three ingredients in, the door will explode and you can continue.
Hallway[]
In the next area, be especially careful of the guard. If he catches you, switch to Ron and use Lumos Solem to chase him away. Use magic on the books right next to the entrance between the bookshelves. Right behind them you will find a green piece, which you must place on the door between the other shelves. The other two missing shards can be found right next to the door - use Wingardium Leviosa on them and aim them at the right spots (so the colors match), then take the key lying at the end and use it to open the gate leading further. Move the books by the pipe entrance using magic, switch to Ron and use Scabbers to get up. Take down the missing part of the door handle and raise it up using Wingardium Leviosa.
Hall of the Mirror[]
In the final area of the level, use Lumos Solem to get rid of Devil's Snare from the corners. A female ghost and two bats will come out. Knock them down using magic - you can find them right above the mirror. When you knock down these bats, the mirror will open and the level will end.

- (S) In the last room with the mirror you will find three spider webs - shoot down the spiders with magic to get this crest.

- (S) Use magic on six vases - the lower ones will come out. Four can be found in the first room, two in the next.

- (F) After getting the spider ingredient, use Dark Magic on the spider web and destroy all the plants to get this crest.

- (F) In the second room, use Reducto on the cage and then Wingardium Leviosa to get some bricks. Assemble with Wingardium Leviosa a clock from them. Turn on the clock with Wingardium Leviosa and the student will be saved.

- (F) Use Reducto on the display case below the right side of the terrace to destroy it and get this character token.
- Neville (Pyjamas)
- (F) In the last room, use Dark Magic on the display case on the right to destroy it and get this character token.
- Filch
- (F) In the second room you will find a safe. Use a character with a key to open it and get this character token.
- Harry (Pyjamas)
Unlockables[]
Harry (Pyjamas), Neville (Pyjamas), and Filch can be purchased from Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions in Diagon Alley after collecting their Character Tokens. You will also be able to continue to The Forbidden Forest.
