The Quidditch World Cup is the nineteenth level from LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4. It is the first level of The Goblet of Fire.

Story[]

In 1994, Harry Potter has a nightmare in which a Muggle caretaker is murdered after overhearing a plot by Lord Voldemort, Peter Pettigrew, and another man whom Harry does not recognize. Harry, along with the Weasleys, Hermione, Cedric Diggory, and his father Amos attend the Quidditch World Cup. Death Eaters attack the tournament and the man from Harry's nightmare casts the Dark Mark.

Walkthrough[]

The Death Eaters attack[]

You have to save five friends from the hooded wizard. George is on the right side of the camping site. Destroy the rockets flying around him. Ron is lying under the table - attack the wizard twice and lift the table with Wingardium Leviosa.

Head to the right side of the field and you will find Arthur Weasley next to the cauldron. Use the large frying Mr. with Wingardium Leviosa to hit the wizard. It's time to create the Invisibility Potion. You can find one of the ingredients on the grill - use magic and you will start a fire. On the right you will find a spider-web - use magic on it and a spider will fall down. To get the third ingredient, switch to Hermione and use Crookshanks to dig up the bush that will give you a cherry. Drink the Invisibility Potion, approach the red book and jump onto it. Push Wingardium Leviosa the car to unlock the passage. Use Wingardium Leviosa again on the tent to save Fred.

Destroyed field[]

You have to get to Harry. Destroy the white banner and use Wingardium Leviosa to construct a trampoline from the bricks, thanks to which you will be able to jump over the flames. Destroy the chest that locks the water barrel so it can put out the fire. Approach the chest and use Wingardium Leviosa on it - the second character will get a water barrel out of it. Use Wingardium Leviosa on it to extinguish the fire by the tent. Switch to Hermione and use Crookshanks to dig up a wheel. Install it to the car and push it lightly with Wingardium Leviosa.

Go right - turn round the knocked over cauldron with Wingardium Leviosa. In the orange chest you can find an axe - use Wingardium Leviosa on it to chop off the brick blocking the passage. Destroy the chest and the barrel - a skeleton will appear and after a while you will receive a potion ingredient. Eliminate the pixie with Immobilus - pick up the tap and place it into the barrel, which will fill up the bucket with water. Use Wingardium Leviosa to extinguish the flames. You will find another ingredient in the hole. A little further there are planks and boxes on the floor - destroy them and collect the potion ingredient. Drink the Strengthening Potion and pull the chain by the gate to proceed to the next area.

Battle against the Dark Mark[]

You will have to face the hooded wizards. The task is easy - you have to fight off three waves of enemies. Eliminate the targets with a plain spell. If you get caught by a snake, switch to the other character and kill the reptile. First wave: six hooded wizards. Second wave: eight hooded wizards and three snakes. Third wave: six hooded wizards and five snakes. When you finish these three waves, the level ends.

  • House Crests
    • Gryffindor
      • (S) Find eight flames which you can extinguish with the water from the barrel using Wingardium Leviosa.
        1. To the right side of the student in peril.
        2. Top left of the level start.
        3. To the right side of where the player rescues George.
        4. Down the cauldron.
        5. To the right side of where the player rescues Arthur.
        6. To the left side of where the player rescues Fred.
        7. To the left side of where there is a lumber shop.
        8. To the right side of where there is a lumber shop.
    • Slytherin
      • (F) To the north of the hungry book you will find a locked tent which you can open with Dark Magic.
    • Hufflepuff
      • (S) Once everything burns down, you need to find five wizards and save them.
        1. Right after you jump over the fire, go up and put out the flames.
        2. On the right, covered with some planks and a chest.
        3. After getting rid of the car head up - get the axe out of the chest and extinguish the fire.
        4. Beside the cauldron - head down and extinguish the fire.
        5. After ditching the car, head downstairs - the next one is buried under some planks.
    • Ravenclaw
      • (F) After fixing the car, head down - you will find a pile of silver chests. Destroy them with Reducto and dig up the painting. Wave to him with a Ravenclaw student for him to give you this house crest.
  • Student in Peril
    • (F) Right next to the location where you begin, on the right, you will find a locked booth. Remove the padlock with Reducto to save this student.
  • Tokens
    • Ginny (Hooded Top)
      • (S) After jumping over the flames, head down and use magic on some planks and chests to get this character token.
    • Barty Crouch Junior
      • (F) By one of the ingredients there's a chest - get rid of the padlock with Reducto to get this character token.
    • Death Eater
      • (F) Right next to and below the hungry book you will find a black sphere - destroy it with Dark Magic to get this character token.

Unlockables[]

Ginny (Hooded Top), Barty Crouch Junior, and Death Eater can be purchased from Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions in Diagon Alley after collecting their Character Tokens. You will also be able to continue to Dragons.
