The Nut Cracker is the fiftieth mission of LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins. It is the ninth and final mission to take place in Bluebell Woods.

Walnuts Will Be in the Mine[]

Mech Being Stolen and Entrance Sealed[]

Walkthrough[]
Mission Prelude[]
After completing the previous mission, you'll need to find Walnuts, who Chase suspects is in the mine stealing a mech. Use a nearby zip line to return to the temple courtyard. Then, hop into any vehicle you see nearby and head to the mine entrance to the north. When you're there, talk to Greywacke to start this mission.
Mission Walkthrough[]
When starting the mission, Greywacke will tell you that the entrance is closed and Walnuts is stealing a mech. To clear the entrance, go west and you'll find three goons and a car with dynamite. Fight the goons using your combat skills and arrest them. After defeating them, use the Miner suit to grab a dynamite from the car, also unlocking the ability to use dynamite. Take the dynamite to the entrance and place it in a barrel. Then, move away from it and it will explode in three seconds, clearing the entrance. Go through the entrance to enter the mine.
In the mine, you will face Carl Walnuts in a boss fight. He'll be in his own mech, while you'll be in yours. Approach Walnuts' mech and hit it several times until a cutscene plays. Walnuts will destroy your mech and climb onto a rock. He will throw rocks at you. Move away from your mech before it explodes and watch the shadows to see where the rocks will fall. Rocks will begin to fall from the ceiling. Notice the white markers on the ground. After a while, a large rock will fall in the upper left corner, revealing pieces. Use them to build a post where you can place a dynamite. Use the Miner suit to place a dynamite there, move away from it and wait for it to explode. This will cause large rocks to fall on Walnuts' mech, taking away his health. Then, keep dodging the rocks Walnuts throws at you and the falling rocks, until a large rock falls in the lower right corner. Use the pieces to build a post there, place a dynamite and get away before it explodes. More large rocks will fall on Walnuts' mech, taking away more of his health. Repeat this two more times, this time with the pillars in the upper right corner and the lower left corner. After destroying all four pillars, Walnuts' mech will be destroyed and he will have half his health. He will confront you on foot. Fight him using your combat skills until he faints. When he is unconscious, press the A button to arrest him and complete the mission. You will see two scenes and return to Cherry Tree Hills after watching the second one.
