The Leaky Cauldron is the main hub of LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7 and the first one accessible in-game.
Summary[]
Unlike the previous game, the story is quite different. From The Leaky Cauldron, the access to the Muggle World has opened onto a Muggle Street, which then takes you to The Train Station.
Areas[]
Although you still have the same areas from the previous game, you can no longer explore the basement, but you can explore a new area where you can purchase Red Bricks, along with a golden Hogwarts in the movie room that you can build after obtaining all the Gold Bricks.
Red Brick Room[]
Here the player can buy all 24 game extras. Some are purely aesthetic, others are useful. To see a list of all the extras that can be bought, what is their price and the requirement for when it is available see here.

- Grab three cups and place them on three green pads on the left wall of the bar to get this Gold Brick.
- Student in Peril
- A student is under the roof. The student hangs on the spider web - shoot it to help him.
- Tokens
- Hestia Jones*
- There are stools in front of the bar. Jump on the middle one and hit it with magic. After a while, the stool will launch you upwards - catch this character token.
- Mrs Figg*
- Go left on the movie room. This character token is behind the chair.
