Trivia[]

  • The game features Ninjago characters, despite being set in The LEGO Movie universe.
  • As with LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2, this game was affected by the 2016–17 video game voice actor strike from the Screen Actors Guild‐American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) so the game used a voice cast in the form of non-union actors from the United Kingdom.
  • This and LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens are only TT LEGO games where the player can use rolls to traverse much quicker. Coincidentally, the tagging sound effect was re-used from that game and it was later used in LEGO The Incredibles.
  • This is the last TT LEGO game to have 4-Player Battle Arenas, the other two being LEGO Dimensions and LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2.
  • This is only the second LEGO game to have stud chests after LEGO Dimensions.
