The Kraken is the tenth level of LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game. It is the fifth and final level of Dead Man's Chest.
Story[]
Davy Jones attacks the Pearl with the Kraken, which kills most of the crew and destroys all but one of the Pearl's lifeboats. Jack Sparrow uses the boat to briefly flee the battle, but returns to help wound the Kraken with a net filled with gunpowder and rum. Jack orders the survivors to abandon ship, but Elizabeth realizes that the Kraken only wants Jack. Elizabeth tricks Jack by kissing him and chaining him to the mast so the crew can escape while the Kraken drags Jack and the Pearl into the depths. Davy Jones, apparently satisfied that Sparrow's debt is settled, opens the chest and discovers that inside is Hadras' head instead of his heart.
Norrington gives Beckett the Letters and Jones' heart, reinstates him into the Navy, and allows the East India Trading Company to gain control of Davy Jones, the Flying Dutchman, and the Seven Seas. Jack's crew returns to Tia Dalma, where they agree on the possibility of rescuing Sparrow at World's End. Tia Dalma introduces the captain who will guide them: the resurrected Captain Barbossa.
In a post-credits scene, it is seen that the Guard Dog who helped Jack, Will Turner, and Mr. Gibbs distract the Pelegostos has become their new chief. The cannibals then act like dogs, causing the Guard Dog to laugh at them.
Walkthrough[]
You start on the lower deck. Go right until you reach the cannon and shoot a fuse with the torch. Shoot the three purple pieces of a tentacle. That way you'll save Marty. Go left skipping the tentacle near the stairs and use another cannon - shoot the purple pieces of a tentacle again and you will save Mr. Gibbs. Switch to Marty and shoot the cage hanging below the ceiling. Take the first chest to the green floor panel. Place the other chest there as well (it's nearby). Go down the stairs as you wish to reach the screen and destroy the shelf on the left. Build the third chest with dynamite and take it to one of the green floor panels in the center of the map. A tentacle will destroy the items near the left column. Then, use them to build a mechanism next to each other. Repair two pieces with the green elements - Mr. Gibbs can take care of that with his hammer. Now that the mechanisms are in pairs, move them by pushing the green bricks. A net with the explosives you placed will go up and the Kraken tentacle on the stairs to the right will disappear. Go to the upper deck. Go left and move a helm in front of the chests twice. As Marty, enter the hatch in the wall to the left of the elevator. When you're on the other side, move the chest to the right. Put it in the net with the other explosives. Go left and shoot the target next to the glowing bar with a pistol. The cannon will fall on the tentacle. Take the chest with dynamite to the last available place. The Kraken tentacle on the stairs to the left will disappear, but when you go up them, they will collapse. Use the bricks to build the elements of a mechanism and then turn it. Finally, the net with the explosives will continue to rise and you will have to go out through the stairs on the right to go to the next area.
In the next area, go right, switch to Jack, and use one of his grappling hooks to climb the mast. At the top of the mast, use the narrow path where the rope passes - destroy the handle to go down. Climb up and reach the other mast using the rope stretched along the deck. Destroy the other handle on the other mast. Other characters can now climb the masts. As Mr. Gibbs, go up the left one. Use his hammer to repair the hot bricks. Now jump down and turn the left mast by pushing two elements in pairs. The explosives will go as high as they can. Shoot them on the bridge using the cannon to go to the final area.
In the final area, you will face the Kraken. In the first part of the fight, the Kraken will spit out various objects and try to suck you up. To defend against absorbing attack, take cover on the sides of the ship - you must hold on to the wooden bars. When the Kraken spits out items, grab the silver bricks and throw them into its jaws. After three such attacks, the Kraken will change tactics. It will hit the deck with its tentacles - you must stay in the center and jump at the moment of the hit. After two such attacks, one of the tentacles will remain on the deck. Grab a torch (left and right), go up and set the chest on fire. At the end of the fight, the Kraken will hit with tentacles, suck and spit out objects. One of the objects turns out to be a chest with bombs. Grab them and throw them into the jaws of the Kraken. The level will end when you eliminate its last heart.

S means that the collectible can be obtained both in Story and in Free Play. F means the collectible can only be obtained in Free Play.
- Minikit Bottles
- (F) In the first area, on the right, use a character with super strength (like Blackbeard) to destroy a door that will lead you to this minikit.
- (F) In the first area on the left, use Blackbeard to open the passage. Next, destroy the valves on the left (starting from the left) to get this minikit.
- (F) A little to the left of the previous minikit, destroy two chests and then place the small one inside the large one to get this minikit.
- (F) When you reach the upper deck, go left and destroy the glass as Syrena to get this minikit.
- (S) You will find it on the side of the ship - you can get it by jumping down from the bars.
- (F) On the main deck, pull the two orange bars on the right to get this minikit.
- (S) Use Jack to climb the mast on the right. The minikit is in one of the sails.
- (S) It is in the sail of the other mast (the one on the left). Only female characters (like Anamaria) can grab it.
- (S) During the battle against the Kraken, use an explosive character or a bomb that may appear to destroy the box on the left and get this minikit.
- (F) A little to the left of the previous minikit you will find algae. Use a ghost pirate (like Bootstrap Bill Turner) to enter into them and you will reach the bridge. There, grab a torch and use it to blow up dynamite to the left of the bridge to make this minikit appear.

- (F) You discover this item by breaking the chain in the small chest on the lowest deck. (It is necessary to discover it to get the second minikit.)

- (S) This item is located on the right side of the second area of the level. Use Jack's compass to find it.
- Orange Handles
- (S) This item is located on the right side of the second area of the level. You can find out either with a character with super strength or Jack's compass. (It is necessary to discover it to get the sixth minikit.)
- Trident
- (S) This item is located on the left side of the second area of the level. Use Jack's compass to find it.
- Red Chest
- (S) This item is located on the left side of the second area of the level. Use Blackbeard to destroy it and have it discovered. You can also use Jack's compass.
- Algae
- (S) This item is located at the far left of the final area of the level. You can find out either with an Algae Travel character or Jack's compass. (It is necessary to discover it to get the tenth minikit.)

The minikit model in this level is a Minikit Ship 10. After completing the level, you unlock Marty (unless you have completed Tortuga or Davy Jones' Locker) and Anamaria (unless you have completed Tortuga or The Maelstrom).
