The Hunt for Sir Richard is the thirteenth level from LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures. It is the first level of The Last Crusade.
Story[]
Indy's latest adventure begins when Indiana receives a diary from his dad, Henry Jones, that contains a partial rubbing of an old tablet that details the location of the Holy Grail. A man named Donovan enlists Indiana and Professor Brody to find the crypt of Sir Richard, whose skeleton holds a shield that should provide the rest of the rubbing. In Venice, Indiana and Marcus meet Donovan's contact, Elsa, a colleague of Henry's, to begin their search. Indiana, Brody and Elsa end up at the library where Henry's diary indicates the secret crypt of Sir Richard might be, in hopes of finding a clue to his whereabouts. X marks the spot to the entrance of the crypt, prompting Indiana and Elsa to venture inside. They trek through the murky, oil-filled crypt tunnels to find Sir Richard's tomb. Indiana completes the rubbing, but members of a Brotherhood devoted to protecting the Grail's secrecy light the oil in the crypts, forcing Indiana and Elsa out. When they exit the crypt, they find themselves on a speedboat chase through the city's canals with the Brotherhood hot on their trail. After a confrontation with the Brotherhood's leader, Kazim, during which Indiana saves Kazim from a rogue propellor, Kazim has a change of heart and tells Indiana that Henry is being kept in a German castle.
Walkthrough[]
You start at the dock. Turn 2 keys to make two curtains move and switch to Elsa to get to a key. Then put the key in the mechanism and turn it to raise a wooden platform and switch to Indy to cross. Then break some columns to reveal a key and put it in a mechanism to turn and raise a bridge. Then switch to Elsa or Brody to solve a puzzle and advance to the next area.
In the next area, break some books on the left side to reveal a lever and activate it to reveal a crate and take it to a green pad. Take another box you see ahead to a green pad, then build some switches to push a ladder and use it to get to a box and put it on a green pad. Use Indy's whip to reveal a mechanism and push it to reveal a ladder, then switch to Elsa or Brody to solve a puzzle and bring a box to a green pad. Then build a green X to reveal some handholds and use Indy's whip to whip out some lights and destroy the X. Enter the X to advance to the next area.
In the next area, use a shovel to dig out a box and take it to a green pad to build a fan that will reveal a puzzle. Solve the puzzle with Elsa to break a wall and switch to Indy to cross a stream of rats, then use a torch to scare the rats away and make Elsa cross. Then switch to Elsa to hold a rope and switch to Indy to activate a lever to advance to the next area.
In the next area, use Elsa to cross a gap thanks to some handholds and Indy will cross only by his whip. Use Elsa to hold a rope and switch Indy to use his whip into a grappling hook, then activate two levers to proceed to the next area.
In the next area, use Indy to lower a crate and take it to a white pad. Push an object for Elsa to climb up and drop a box, then push a box onto another white pad to reveal 2 buttons. Press the 2 buttons to reveal an object and push it to reach a coffin and go to the final area of the level.
In the final area of the level, you will face Kazim and his cloaks. If you take two hearts from him, he will run away from you using a boat and you will have to get on one to chase him. Remove 3 hearts from his boat so that he reaches an island and goes to it to remove another 2 hearts, then do the same again so that he flees to a ship. Remove the remaining 2 hearts to finish the level.

- Artifact Treasures
- (F) Use a character that can break glass to get this artifact.
- (F) Destroy an object to build a hatch and enter it with a child to reach this artifact.
- (F) Use a character with explosives to destroy two silver caps that will reveal cones and open a garage with motorcycles. Get on a motorcycle to destroy the path of cones and get this artifact.
- (S) Destroy objects below to build a black and white floor and push a statue to reveal katanas above. Use them to destroy two ropes and get this artifact.
- (F) Push a ladder to get to a window and use an enemy access character to open a door, then destroy some silver panels to reveal a random password. Then form the password that comes out to reveal this artifact.
- (F) Find 5 skeletons in the sewers to open the gates that protect this artifact:
- In the coffin closest to the stairs.
- Pushing a coffin with a switch.
- Revealed after interacting with a Thuggee statue with a Thuggee character.
- Revealed after breaking some wooden debris on the right side.
- Revealed after submerging and pressing three buttons.
- (F) When someone is holding the rope, use a child to enter a hatch and use a shovel to open some bars to get this artifact.
- (S) Use a girl on the box before it falls or Indy on some wooden planks to get this artifact.
- (S) Drive over 10 buoys in the water with a boat to reveal this artifact. It will appear on the island.
- (F) Use a character with a wrench to build a crane and climb on it to send the other character to a platform. Then switch to him/her to use handholds on boxes and get to the top of the tower where you will have to destroy a silver lid with a character with explosives to get this artifact.
- Parcel Detector Parcel
- (F) Activate a lever to open a gate and enter a special area. Use Indy's whip to reach the parcel and activate a lever to raise and lower a platform, then jump on the window and destroy some doors to advance. Break some drawers to reveal a key and turn it on the mechanism to raise a platform, then jump to the window with the parcel and use the whip to get it through the gap. Then put the parcel in the mailbox.
Unlockables[]
The minikit model in this level is a Crusader Shield. At the end of the level you can unlock Indiana Jones (Professor), Brody and Elsa. In Barnett College you can buy Kazim. You will also be able to continue to Castle Rescue. After collecting the Parcel, you can purchase Parcel Detector.
