The Dead Marshes is a location from LEGO The Lord of the Rings.

Map Stone

The Map Stone for this location is on the east side of The Dead Marshes, near the path that leads to The Black Gate.

    • After completing The Battle of Pelennor Fields level, from the penultimate island in the south, go up the eastern hill and you will find this character. Fight him to make him surrender and you can buy him. He costs 25,000 studs.

• Red Bricks
  • Mithril Hearts Red Brick
    • Go all the way north in the marsh until you see a climbable wall. Climb it with Gollum and talk to a male elf to begin his quest. He will ask you for a Mithril Headdress, which you can obtain in The Mines of Moria level. When you have the Mithril Headdress, give it to the male elf to complete the quest and he will allow you to buy this Red Brick. It costs 75,000 studs.

Collectables

• Mithril Bricks
  1. Head north of The Dead Marshes and on the penultimate island, you will find a chest locked with a Morgul lock. Use a character capable of breaking Morgul objects to destroy the Morgul lock and open the chest with this Mithril Brick.
  2. On the last northern island, you will see a pile of wood covering this Mithril Brick. Use any variant of Sam to burn the pile of wood and grab this Mithril Brick.
  3. In the northeast corner of the marsh, ride the moving wooden platforms to the pillars in the water. Once you reach the last wooden platform, grab the handholds to reach the top and grab this Mithril Brick.
  4. On the east side of the second-to-last northern island, you will see a Mordor Orc. Talk to him to begin his quest. He will ask you for a Muddy Armor, which you can get in The Secret Stairs level. When you have the Muddy Armor, give it to the orc to complete the quest and he will give you this Mithril Brick as a reward.
  5. From the Map Stone, head south of The Dead Marshes path and jump over two springy leaf plants to reach the first island to the south. Then, jump to the raised ledge on the right and defeat three dancing Soldiers of the Dead to reveal this Mithril Brick. This Mithril Brick can only be obtained during Night.
  6. From the place where you get the previous Mithril Brick, use the springy plant to the west to reach the second southern island and find an Uruk-hai. Talk to him to begin his quest. He will ask you for a Skeleton Key, which you can get in The Paths of the Dead level. When you have the Skeleton Key, give it to the Uruk-hai to complete the quest and he will give you this Mithril Brick as a reward.
  7. On the third southern island, jump over the pillars sticking out of the water on the west side to reach this Mithril Brick. Be careful not to fall into the water or you will have to restart the process.
  8. Follow the southern path of the marsh until you see a dark alcove on the fifth southern island. Go in there with a character who can light up to find this Mithril Brick.
  9. Just to the east side of the previous Mithril Brick, you'll see a target sticking out of the water. Shoot it with an archer character and jump over the lily pad towards the three narrow beams and the island beyond. In the eastern corner of this island, use a gardener character to place a plant and reveal this Mithirl Brick.
  10. Take the path south along small platforms jutting out of the water until you reach the last southern island. There, quickly destroy seven bouncing plants to reveal this Mithril Brick.
