The Dark Tower is the eighteenth level from LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4. It is the sixth and final level of The Prisoner of Azkaban.

Story[]

Harry and Hermione free Black, who flies away on Buckbeak, still a fugitive without proof of his innocence. Harry and Hermione return to the hospital wing and rejoin their own timeline.

Exposed as a werewolf, Lupin resigns from teaching and returns the Marauder's Map to Harry. Black sends Harry a Firebolt broomstick, which he happily takes for a ride.

You start at Grassy Courtyard. Ride the Buckbeak to start the next mission.

Hogwarts ceiling[]

Be sure to check on Harry, as Hermione doesn't have Expecto Patronum due to not being in the class where Harry learned the spell. Go right and you will bump into the first Dementor - eliminate it with Expecto Patronum. Use magic on the gold chest to take out an axe, which you can use with Wingardium Leviosa to crush the ice. Break through the Devil's Snare with Lumos Solem and eliminate the Dementor using Expecto Patronum. Next to the fountain, you will find a frozen lamp - melt the ice with Wingardium Leviosa and once the barrel fills up, use Wingardium Leviosa to water the nearby flowers with it. Use magic on the pink and purple flower - they will begin to rotate and create a whirl, which will take you up. Eliminate the Dementors with Expecto Patronum. In the chest at the end you will find bricks, from which you can use Wingardium Leviosa to create a statue identical to the one on the left side of the door. Use magic on them to melt the ice on the door.

Hogwarts attic[]

In the next room, you will have to cooperate with both characters. It doesn't matter which one is on which side. Head to the right side, jump onto the bridge and use Wingardium Leviosa to lift up the platform and fit It to the other side. Switch to the character on the left and move on. Use Wingardium Leviosa to use the torch on the nearby Devil's Snare so that they lower the platform. Switch to the character on the right and move on - once more, use Wingardium Leviosa to move the platform to the other side. Use Wingardium Leviosa on the character on the left to assemble the planks into a passage leading to the end on the room. Use Wingardium Leviosa on the planks blocking the passage with the character on the right and create a passage for the other one - go through the door.

Second part of the Hogwarts ceiling[]

Switch to Harry and take out all three Dementors with the Expecto Patronum. Pull down the cauldron from the statue on the right. You will find one of the ingredients in the left corner - use magic on the flower in the pot and a snake will appear - attack it. Move right, under the tree. Use Wingardium Leviosa to take out the saw from the barrel and cut off one of the branches - you will get another ingredient. Below on the left you will find a ladder - go downstairs. Use Wingardium Leviosa to lift the pink chimera over the window and it will break it. Go inside with Hermione and read the signs by the shelf - take another ingredient. Once you're upstairs, switch to Harry and use Expecto Patronum to get rid of the three Dementors which appeared by the door. Drink the Strengthening Potion and pull the chain by the bridge. A Dementor is waiting by the tower - kill it with Expecto Patronum and go up the stairs.

The highest point of the Dark Tower[]

The boss fight is hard. Make sure you control Harry so you can use the Expecto Patronum. First of all, you will be attacked with some Dementors - get rid of them using Expecto Patronum. Before you kill everyone, you need to use Wingardium Leviosa on the barrels. After clearing the tower, you will be attacked by the boss - it will start pulling you towards it - save yourself with Wingardium Leviosa. The enemy must be hit with the plunger (found in one of the barrels). Once it's stunned, hit it with magic. Once the barrels are frozen, use magic on the nearby statues and they will melt the ice. Remember about the Dementors all the time - fight them off with Expecto Patronum. After melting the ice, empty the barrels using Wingardium Leviosa. Once the boss starts pulling you in, use Wingardium Leviosa to hit it with the plunger, then attack it. Repeat this action three times to kill the boss and finish the level.

S means that the collectible can be obtained both in Story and in Free Play. F means the collectible can only be obtained in Free Play.

  • House Crests
    • Gryffindor
      • (S) Once the purple spout break the window, a part of the crest can be found on the right, next to the wardrobe.
    • Slytherin
      • (F) After getting through the leaky floor, you will find a safe on the other side - use a character with a key to open it and get this house crest.
    • Hufflepuff
      • (F) You can find six silver chimeras on the terrace - they can be destroyed with Reducto. Two are next to the ladder; the third is above the entrance, the fourth one by the bridge, the fifth on the opposite side and the last one before the spiral staircase.
    • Ravenclaw
      • (S) Use magic on the five lamps to get this house crest. You will find the first at the start, the second by the gold chest (get rid of the ice with Wingardium Leviosa), the third on the bridge, the fourth one by the fountain and the fifth one after climbing up the flowers.
  • Student in Peril
    • (F) On the left side of the fountain you will find a padlocked door - destroy it with Reducto. Go inside and eliminate the Dementor with Expecto Patronum to save this student.
  • Tokens
    • Sirius Black
      • (F) Break the window and jump into the room. On the left you will find a black display case that can be destroyed with Dark Magic.
    • Lily Potter (Ghost)
      • (F) Right after entering the cellar, you will find a padlocked chest - destroy it with Reducto to get this character token.
    • James Potter (Ghost)
      • (F) Similar to Student in Peril, only this character token does not require killing the Dementor to obtain.

Unlockables[]

Sirius Black, Lily Potter (Ghost), and James Potter (Ghost) can be purchased from Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions in Diagon Alley after collecting their Character Tokens. You will also be able to start The Goblet of Fire.
