The Coronado Caper is the eleventh level of the original adventures portion of LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues. It is the first level of The Last Crusade.
Story[]
Indiana Jones and Sallah sneak aboard a ship owned by a Panama Hat Man. Their mission is to retrieve an artifact called the Cross of Coronado from the Panama Hat Man but before they can find him, Indiana and Sallah are confronted by several of his sailors. After defeating most of the wrench-wielding Coronado Sailors, Indiana and Sallah meet up with Panama Hat Man who draws a machine gun on them. Indiana manages to trigger the ship's horn, which sends the Panama Hat Man flying, dropping the cross. Indiana grabs it when the Panama Hat Man lands near a crate filled with dynamite. He begins to hurl the explosives at Indiana and Sallah but a stray stick of dynamite sinks the ship, after Indiana and Sallah save themselves by jumping overboard. Brody then arrives in a boat to inform Indiana of his next assignment: to locate the Holy Grail. Indiana is also told that his father, Henry Jones, has gone missing in the search for the chalice. As Marcus and Sallah sail away, Indiana swims from there to Venice where he meets with Henry's colleague, Elsa.
Walkthrough[]
Level Prelude[]
You start on a ship. Use Indy's whip on an orange ring to open a door, then go through it to exit through a chimney. Enter the door marked with the green arrow to start the level.
Level Walkthrough[]
This level only consists of one area which is the ship where you fight against the Panama Hat Man and his sailors. Remember to defeat the sailors so they don't bother you while you do what is necessary to defeat the Panama Hat Man. Destroy all the boxes and barrels you find near the ledge where the Panama Hat Man is, also use Indy's whip on an orange ring to destroy a box and reveal more bricks. Build a harpoon gun and 2 buttons out of the loose parts, then step on the 2 buttons to make a wave come and take a heart from the Panama Hat Man. He then goes into a hatch and will be on the left ledge. Use Indy's whip on an orange ring to destroy some crates, then destroy the green barrels on the left to build a green pad. Take a tube and connect it to the green fittings. Turn a crank to pull out another heart from the Panama Hat Man, which will also play a scene. Once the scene ends, the Panama Hat Man will be on top of a box. To get to him, destroy some barrels in the center to build a green pad. Destroy a box on the left to reveal a box, then take it to the green pad you built to turn it into bricks. Build a winch with the bricks from the box, then destroy a brown box next to the barrels of the green pad to build a mechanism. Turn the key to rotate the beams, then swing, jump and whip the two orange rings to reach the Panama Hat Man and finish the level.
Unlockables[]
After completing the level, you unlock Elsa. In Crusade Hub you can buy a Coronado Sailor, Panama Hat Man (although it requires Bazooka Trooper (Crusade) to be able to find and buy him) and a Gondola. You will also be able to continue to Brunwald Blaze.
