The Asteroid Field is the eighth level in the Nintendo DS version of LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy. It is the third level of The Empire Strikes Back.

Story[]
The Falcon navigates through an asteroid field while being pursued by TIE-Fighters. The ship then heads towards a giant asteroid, avoiding small meteorites. At the end of the asteroid, the Falcon enters an Exogorth to hide from the TIE-Fighters and then go to Bespin.
Walkthrough[]
At the beginning of the level, you'll see a cutscene where three TIE-Fighters are chasing the Millennium Falcon. When the scene ends, you will start on top of a large asteroid. Follow the path pointed by arrow-shaped studs while destroying asteroids. Along the way, you will also be attacked by TIE-Fighters, which you will have to destroy to cross the field safely. Halfway through the area, you'll see that the arrow-shaped studs will be replaced by a path of Gold Studs. Follow them until you reach a giant asteroid hole to reach the next area.
In the next area, meteorites will begin to fall, which you will not know where they will fall, which will make the level more difficult. TIE-Fighters will also come to bother you, so be careful. As in the previous area, follow the path pointed by arrow-shaped studs, while avoiding the meteorites and TIE-Fighters. Also, on two occasions, you will have to continue along a path of Silver Studs. At the end of the area, follow another path pointed by arrow-shaped studs to reach the final area of the level.
In the final area of the level, follow the path while still avoiding meteorites and TIE-Fighters, but this time there will be a single path of studs. Near the end of the area, there will be two paths. Regardless of which one you choose, it will take you to the end of the area with a large hole in the ground. Go into the hole to play a cutscene and finish the level.

All collectibles in this level can be obtained in both Story and Free Play.
- Minikit Canisters
- After passing five arrows made of studs in the first area, go to the giant asteroid on the left side to climb up it and find a path of Gold Studs. Follow the paths of studs to find this minikit as you go through the area.
- After passing six arrows made of studs in the first area, go to the giant asteroid on the right side and go around it to find this minikit behind it.
- At the beginning of the second area, go to the path ahead and you will find this minikit in the middle of a ring of Gold Studs at the end.
- Finding two paths to choose from at the beginning of the second area, choose the left one to find this minikit in the middle of several Gold Studs. Even if you fly under it, you can still grab it.
- After the previous minikit, go through the tunnel on the right and destroy some rocks to reveal a path. At the end of this path, you will find this minikit near many Blue Studs.
- After crossing two arrows made of studs in the second area, go to the left path to find this minikit on the left side of a large zone.
- Follow the second path of Silver Studs in the second area to find this minikit on the right side.
- At the end of the second area, before moving on to the third area, go to the tunnel on the left, destroy some rocks and follow the path until you find this minikit at the end, on the far right.
- Finding two paths to choose from in the third area, choose the one on the right to find this minikit after some Blue Studs.
- At the end of the third area, instead of going to the giant hole in the ground, go to the tunnel in front of you (make sure to go to the far left or right to avoid ending the level). When you reach the tunnel, go through it until you find this minikit at the end, on the right side.
Unlockables[]
After completing the level, you unlock Millenium Falcon. Slave I will be unlocked after obtaining all minikits in this level. In Mos Eisley Cantina you will be able to continue to Betrayal over Bespin.
