Tatooine is the second level in the Game Boy Advance version of LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy. It is the second level of A New Hope.
Story[]
Later, a farmer named Luke Skywalker finds R2-D2 and C-3PO lost on Tatooine. He is scared and captured by Tusken Raiders, but Obi-Wan Kenobi arrives to rescue him. The quartet then departs for Obi-Wan's House, where they see Princess Leia's message. The quartet arrives at Mos Eisley, where they encounter two Stormtroopers. Luke and Obi-Wan tell them that R2 and 3PO are not the droids they are looking for, so the Stormtroopers leave. Luke and Obi-Wan enter the Mos Eisley Cantina, where they find Han Solo and co-pilot Chewbacca. Chewbacca then leaves with Luke and Obi-Wan, while Han kills Greedo. The group then boards the Millennium Falcon and departs for Alderaan.
Walkthrough[]
Tatooine[]
As you start the level, you will be attacked by two Tusken Raiders. Defeat them and follow the upper right path defeating more Tusken Raiders. When you reach a large zone, go to the bottom right and jump over a gap to reach R2-D2 and have him follow you. Build a bridge with Luke for R2-D2 to cross the gap and follow the upper left path to find a large wall. Hit it four times with Luke's blaster to destroy it. Walk along the upper right path and then the upper left path defeating the Tusken Raiders. You'll see a cutscene where Luke is captured by four Tusken Raiders, but Obi-Wan comes to save him. Defeat the four Tusken Raiders and go to the arrow on the upper right path for a cutscene.
Obi-Wan's House[]
In this area, you will see a cutscene where Leia asks Obi-Wan for help. When the cutscene ends, you'll move on to the next area.
Tusken Raider Camp[]
In the next area, you will be attacked by several Tusken Raiders. With Obi-Wan, you can press the L button to use Jedi Mind Trick on them and then defeat them. Go down the lower right path and then the upper right path. When you find a large gap to jump, use Obi-Wan to jump to the upper right ledge. Go over the ledge along the upper right path and then the upper left path to reach the other side of the gap. On the other side of the gap, defeat the Tusken Raiders and go to the far left of the right edge of the gap to find a wall. Use the Force with the R button to turn the wall into a bridge for Luke and R2 to cross. Then, cross the path in the lower left corner on the right side of the large gap, defeat the Tusken Raiders, and use Luke to build a bridge. Cross the bridge and go towards the arrow pointing you to the next area.
Jundland Wastes[]
In the next area, go to the upper right path and then go to the upper left path defeating more Tusken Raiders. Use Obi-Wan's Force to turn a wall into a bridge, continue along the upper left path, and then go to the upper right path. Be careful, you will start encountering Stormtroopers in this zone. When you reach a Sandcrawler, follow the lower right path and then head towards a Land Speeder to proceed to the next area.
Mos Eisley Spaceport[]
In the next area, you'll see a cutscene where two Stormtroopers find the droids, but Luke and Obi-Wan tell them that they aren't the droids they're looking for. When the scene ends, defeat all the Stormtroopers and go through the archway at the top right. There, go through a door into the next area.
Mos Eisley Cantina[]
In the next area, go to the far right and go through an archway for a cutscene. When the cutscene ends, Chewbacca will join your team. Go back to where you entered to return to the previous area, but not before seeing a cutscene where Han Solo kills Greedo.
Mos Eisley Spaceport (Again)[]
Upon returning to the previous area, you will be attacked by many Stormtroopers. Defeat them, go through the archway you entered through, and go to the far right of the area to find a wall. Use Obi-Wan's Force to turn the wall into a bridge, cross the bridge and head towards the arrow that will take you to the final area of the level.
Mos Eisley Docking Bay[]
In the final area of the level, defeat the Stormtroopers, go through the archway at the top right, and follow the path to find the Millennium Falcon. Go right to find Han Solo and head towards the arrow to enter the Falcon and finish the level.
Collectables[]
S means that the collectible can be obtained both in Story and in Free Play. F means the collectible can only be obtained in Free Play.
- Minikit Canisters
- (S) At the beginning of the level, before the big wall, go to the upper left corner to find pieces. Use a buildable character to build a platform, use the platform to reach a ledge, and build another platform to reach this minikit.
- (F) You will find this minikit at the end of the second upper right path of the first area. It's impossible to grab it in Story because a cutscene plays. In Free Play, you can grab it because there is no cutscene.
- (S) At the beginning of the Tusken Raider Camp, use a Jedi character to reach the high ledges at the top right and reach this minikit. Be careful, the ledges are full of Tusken Raiders.
- (S) On the upper ledge that you use to cross the large gap in the Tusken Raider Camp, you will find this minikit in the upper corner.
- (S) When you're climbing the hill towards the Sandcrawler in Jundland Wastes, take the split path to the bottom right. Follow it to the end and you will see a minikit floating near the large pit. Jump towards it to get it (no Jedi character required).
- (S) You'll find this minikit floating near the Land Speeder at the end of the Jundland Wastes. Jump towards it to get it (no Jedi character required).
- (S) Before entering the Mos Eisley Cantina at Mos Eisley Spaceport, head to the right of the starting point to find pieces. Use a buildable character to build a platform and use the platform to reach this minikit.
- (S) You will find this minikit to the right of Han's table in the Mos Eisley Cantina. You can grab it after the scene where you talk to Han ends.
- (S) In Mos Eisley Docking Bay, go to the far right of the area before the arch to find a gap. Use a hover character to float over the gap and reach this minikit when you reach the other side. You'll also be able to do this with a Jedi character, allowing you to get the minikit in Story.
- (S) Near the end of the level, go to the hallway at the bottom right of the Millennium Falcon to find this minikit at the end.
Unlockables[]
A Tusken Raider will be available to purchase after obtaining all minikits in this level. In Mos Eisley Cantina you can buy Luke Skywalker (Tatooine), Obi Wan Kenobi, and Chewbacca. You will also be able to continue to Death Star Rescue.
