Taking Out the Trash is the eighth mission of LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins. It is the eighth mission to take place in Cherry Tree Hills.

Stop Knuckles![]

[Before starting the mission]

Police Chief Gleeson: [By phone] This is it, Chase - find Tony Knuckles and stop him. Head over to his hideout and take him down.

Meeting Knuckles[]

[When starting the mission]

[Chase walks up the stairs and Knuckles notices him]

Tony 'Knuckles' McGee: You must be Chase McCain.

[He jumps down from the building and his full name appears]

Chase McCain: Tony 'Knuckles' McGee, you're under arrest!

Tony 'Knuckles' McGee: I don't think so. You see what happens when you come up against me. Bo ys, get rid of him!

[Knuckles sends three of his goons to attack Chase]

Tony 'Knuckles' McGee: You got some moves, McLAME! [He sends three more goons] Let's see how you deal with these three!

[Upon reaching the second roof]

Chase McCain: Thought you were going to show me what a tough guy you are.

[When sliding under the gap in the third roof]

Tony 'Knuckles' McGee: What do you think of my maze, McLAME? You'll never catch me!

[Upon reaching the fifth roof]

Tony 'Knuckles' McGee: Argh, why don't you just quit?!

Fighting Against Knuckles[]

[After removing the first two parts of Knuckles' health]

Tony 'Knuckles' McGee: Get him! Get him now! [He sends three goons]

Guard: [He notices that Chase isn't wearing pants] You know he just stole your pants, right?

Chase McCain: Whoa! [He realizes he has no pants on and covers his underwear]

Walkthrough[]

Mission Prelude[]

After completing the previous mission, Gleeson will call you to tell you to find Tony Knuckles and stop him. Hop into someone else's vehicle and head to the south side of the northern apartments. Then, go up the stairs and go to the designated place to start this mission.

Mission Walkthrough[]

As you start the mission, you will see a cutscene where Knuckles will send three goons to attack you. Fight them using your combat skills and arrest them. When you defeat them, Knuckles will send three more goons to attack you. Repeat your combat moves to arrest them. After defeating them, you'll have to chase Knuckles. Use the Grapple Gun you received in the previous mission to reach the roof with Knuckles. He will also use another Grapple Gun to run away from you. Use your Grapple Gun again to reach the next rooftop and chase Knuckles while using railings to cross fences and slide under gaps. During the chase, you'll also have to use catapults to reach distant rooftops and cross mazes. Use three designated places to use the Grapple Gun three times and continue chasing Knuckles. Slide under another gap and use another catapult to reach the next roof. Go through another maze, use the Grapple Gun at one last designated place, and use one last catapult to reach the basketball court, where you'll face Knuckles in a boss fight. Since he is a strong enemy, you will not be able to throw him normally. Instead, press the A button to start overpowering him. Then, press the same button several times to fill the gauge and be able to throw him, taking away part of his health. Repeat the same thing and when you take out the second part of his health, he will jump to a high platform and send three goons at you. Fight them using your combat skills and arrest them. After defeating them, Knuckles will come down from the platform and continue attacking you. Repeat the same thing you did in the first phase to take away another couple of health points. When you take out the fourth part of his health, he will jump to another high platform and send four more goons at you. Repeat your combat moves to arrest them. After defeating them, Knuckles will step down from the platform and attack you once again. Repeat the same thing you did in the previous two phases to take away the rest of his health and make him faint. While he is pass out, quickly arrest him before he gets up to defeat him and complete the mission.
