Taking It Back is the twelfth mission of LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins. It is the third mission to take place in Albatross Island.

Using a Guy as Chase[]

[When starting the mission]

Burt 'Birdman' Wellington: I like your style. We could use a guy like you around here. Listen, Slick's gang runs the north yard. They've locked us out. If you get us in there, you can consider yourself one of us.

Making Way for the Gang[]

[When opening the door leading to the south courtyard, Birdman and his goons enter the north courtyard. The mission ends]

Walkthrough[]

Mission Prelude[]

After completing the previous mission, a designated place will appear near Birdman. Go to that designated place to start this mission.

Mission Walkthrough[]

At the start of the mission, Birdman will tell you that Slick's gang is hanging around the north courtyard. Go to the northeast corner of the south courtyard to find a toolbox. Grab it and place it on a green pad to build a blue trampoline. Jump on the trampoline and hold the B button to do a high jump and reach the north courtyard. As you reach the north courtyard, you'll see two members of Slick's gang playing basketball, while two others are with Slick as he lifts a weight. Go forward and enter the basketball court. Two other goons playing basketball will notice you. Fight them using your combat skills and arrest them. Go left and you will be attacked by the two goons you saw earlier. Repeat your combat moves to fight them off and arrest them. Once you defeat them, use the Plainclothes suit at a point with a police logo to use the Grapple Gun and pull up some steps. These steps will allow you to reach the area where Slick is. Slick will jump to a high place while his two remaining goons will charge at you. Use your combat moves to fight them and arrest them when they are passed out. When you defeat them, you will face Slick in a mini boss battle. Press the A button near him to start overpowering him. Then, press the A button repeatedly until the bar is full to throw him towards the red drawers in front. One of these drawers will contain a gray key. Grab it and use the Robber suit to open a door on the right and return to the basketball court. Exit the court, place the key in a lock to the south and turn it to open the door leading to the south courtyard. Birdman and his goons will enter the north courtyard, completing the mission.
