Studs, called Treasure in LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures and LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean: The Video Game and also known as Money, are so far the currency in all the games of the LEGO series. The colors are blue, purple, silver, and gold. They are found either out in the open or after things are broken. When you die without the Invincibility cheat on, you lose studs. In certain bonus levels, collecting 1,000,000 studs marks the level's completion.
Stud Bars[]

Collecting a certain amount of studs in a level grants you 100% on the Stud Bar, with different names throughout the series.
Stud Values[]
There are four types of studs which progressively are worth more but are rarer: Silver Studs, the most common stud worth 10 points, Gold Studs, the less-common but still very common stud worth 100 points, Blue Studs, much rarer studs worth 1,000 points, and Purple Studs, the rarest stud worth 10,000 points.

Ghost Studs[]
In games with free roam areas, a guide ghost character can appear who would head towards a marked point on the map, leaving a trail of transparent studs, with the color being dependent on each individual game. When the "collect ghost studs" cheat is activated, players will be able to add these studs to their score count, in most cases having the same value as a Blue Stud (1000 points).
