Story[]
Centuries ago, the First Spinjitzu Master had two sons: the oldest, Garmadon, and the youngest, Wu. Unfortunately, they grew apart once the elder brother was bitten by a serpent known as the Great Devourer, corrupting him to the point Wu was forced to banish him to the Underworld. Years later, Wu recruited a team of ninja to face Garmadon once he returned and claim the Golden Weapons before he does.
Later on, he helped train Lloyd into becoming the fabled Green Ninja, aiding him in purifying his father, bringing him back to the side of good. He looks out for the ninja every chance he gets, keeping them from getting too cocky and teaching them how to be better ninja, although he has shown to have a humorous side.
Games[]
LEGO Battles: Ninjago[]
Based loosely on the pilot, Wu's the first playable character and acts as the player guide in the tutorial level, teaching them the controls and how to play the game. He's only playable in the Ninja's Story. He's a melee type character with short-ranged attacks but can be upgraded twice to gain more powerful attacks.
LEGO Ninjago: Nindroids[]
Based loosely on the third season of the TV show, Wu is playable in only two levels; the boss battle with The Overlord in the sixth level and the tenth level, he has spinjitzu just like the rest of the ninja and attacks with his staff. He is also the boss in two levels when The Overlord corrupted him.
LEGO Ninjago: Shadow of Ronin[]
Taking place between seasons 4 and 5, Wu aids the ninja in fighting Ronin and returning them their memories stolen by the Obsidian Glaive. Just like his students, he can do spinjitzu to activate Spinjitzu powered pads, but lacks an elemental power.
