Secret of the Egg is the twenty-second level from LEGO Harry Potter: Years 1-4. It is the fourth level of The Goblet of Fire.

Story[]

Cedric advises Harry to use the Prefects' bathroom to get a clue for the second task using the egg.

Walkthrough[]

Level Prelude[]

Gryffindor Common Room[]

You will start in the Gryffindor Common Room. Go outside and follow the ghost to Hagrid's Hut - you will come across another student on your way.

Hogwarts[]

Head towards the Bathroom Hallway, head onto the upper floor and destroy the blockade with Reducto. At the end you will find Moaning Myrtle - follow her into the bathroom.

Level Walkthrough[]

The Girls' Toilets[]

You have to collect four green shells and place them on the wall. The first one is right next to you. Head left - there are three leaky sinks there. Use magic on them and eventually the shell will fall out of the container next to it. Approach the wizard painting - in one of the cabinets on the right you will find a couple bricks - use Wingardium Leviosa to assemble an umbrella from them. Hand it over to the Wizard - he will clog the hole and give you a shell. In the barrel, right next to the chest with a Boggart, you will find a couple of bricks. Use Wingardium Leviosa to assemble a toilet seat from them. Use Wingardium Leviosa on one of the planks - the ghost will do the same with the other one. You will receive a shell; go down the stairs.

The Prefects' Bathroom[]

There is a broom by the pool - use Wingardium Leviosa to clean the stained glass window with it. The siren will throw out a box with crabs - destroy them all and use Wingardium Leviosa to make a small railway from the bricks. Use the cloud with Wingardium Leviosa by the column on the siren to fill the stained-glass windows with water. In exchange, you will receive a valve - use Wingardium Leviosa to place it on the right side and turn it to finish the level.

S means that the collectible can be obtained both in Story and in Free Play. F means the collectible can only be obtained in Free Play.

  • House Crests
    • Gryffindor
      • (F) After removing the shellfish from the tank, pull the chain to get the crest.
    • Slytherin
      • (S) You can find four shelves in the bathroom - use normal magic on them. Three on the left above the sink, one on the right.
    • Hufflepuff
      • (S) Use Wingardium Leviosa on the three torches in the bathroom to get this house crest.
    • Ravenclaw
      • (F) After getting down, you will find a cabinet on the right side - use a character with a book.
  • Student in Peril
    • (F) On the opposite side of the entrance you will find a black cabinet - destroy it with Dark Magic and you will find the student inside.
  • Tokens
    • Cedric Diggory
      • (S) Eliminate the Dementor lurking in the chest using the Expecto Patronum.
    • Moaning Myrtle (Swimsuit)
      • (F) Right next to it, after starting the level, you will find a black display case - destroy it with Dark Magic.
    • Fleur (Lake Task)
      • (S) In the second location, right on the left you will find a padlocked cabinet - get rid of it with Reducto.

Unlockables[]

Cedric Diggory, Moaning Myrtle (Swimsuit), and Fleur (Lake Task) can be purchased from Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions in Diagon Alley after collecting their Character Tokens. You will also be able to continue to The Black Lake.
