Robin is a character that is playable in LEGO Batman 3: Beyond Gotham.
Story[]
Robin and Batman were following Killer Croc through the sewers in Gotham City after he broke into the city records office. When following him, Robin is startled by some rats. Batman tells him to not pay attention to his emotions as a crimefighter. Robin responds saying he can still fight crime with emotions. They find Killer Croc and he scares Robin. They use a net launcher to defeat him, however Robin gets cocky, and he is able to escape. Batman tells him that his cockiness let Killer Croc escape.
At The Batcave, Batman and Robin find out that Killer Croc stole a map of the sewers. They also find out about an alien object approaching Earth. Robin suggests contacting Martian Manhunter who is at The Watchtower to check it out. Batman tells him it's a good idea, and Robin gets excited. Batman looks at the alien object through a telescope. when it starts to mind control him. He then starts attacking Robin and Alfred. They try to break the mind control by electrocuting him, but it seemingly does not work. Batman then summons a bunch of bats and forms a giant bat golem he fights Robin and Alfred with. They use music to make the bats fly away. Batman then picks up Robin and is about to drop him off an edge, when he gives an emotional speech which appears to break Batman out of the mind control. Robin thinks his speech worked to stop it, but Batman thinks it was the electrocution.
They get a call from Martian Manhunter saying that some villains led by Lex Luthor, including Killer Croc, have invaded the Watchtower. They head to the Watchtower in the Batrocket to go and stop the villains. They meet up with Superman, Cyborg, The Flash, and Wonder Woman who also came to stop the villains. Robin and Cyborg go to stop Killer Croc and Solomon Grundy. Robin tells Cyborg about that he was not long-ago following Killer Croc in the sewer, and that he got scared. He says he won't get scared during this confrontation but does when Killer Croc pops up in front of him. They are able to defeat Killer Croc and Grundy, as are the rest of heroes with the other villains.
The alien object appears at the Watchtower. Brainiac, who is controlling the object (ship), introduces himself. He starts to shrink the Earth using the power of a crystal and the different lantern corps and the villains decide to team up with the heroes to stop him. Superman goes to stop the shrink ray, and the others launch a grapple towards Brainiac's ship and pull it towards the Watchtower so they can get into it. When they get inside, they fight Brainiac. Meanwhile, Superman is able to disable the laser by punching where it comes out of the ship, and starts to fall towards the Earth. This causes a malfunction in the ship's system, and the heroes and villains inside the ship except Batman and Robin get affected by a different lantern emotion. Batman puts Robin in charge of everyone since he is the only one not affected by a lantern emotion while he goes to save Superman. Robin tells Cyborg to link up to the ship to land it in Gotham City. In Gotham City, they fight Brainiac. Batman returns and helps them. The Flash builds a cage for Brainiac to stop him while they work on fixing the Earth.
To make the Earth return to its original size, the heroes and villains use the different lantern powers and aim them at a fragment of the crystal Brainiac use to shrink the Earth. They are successful, and everyone becomes no longer affected by the lantern emotions. The villains then leave to go back to their evil ways. Since the Earth is back to its original size, Brainiac is able to escape his cage. He then enlarges and mind controls Superman and makes him attack the heroes. Batman recalls the shock which broke him out of the mind control and tries to zap Superman. It doesn't work, which causes Robin to conclude that it was indeed his speech. Batman gives an emotional speech to Superman, and he snaps out of the mind control. Superman takes Brainiac's shrink ray and gives it to the heroes so they can use it to return Superman back to his original size. Batman tells Robin that he was right about emotions can be a good thing to help stop evil. Brainiac is put in jail, along with the other villains, who the heroes went to go stop sometime afterwards.
