Rivendell is a location from LEGO The Lord of the Rings.

Map Stone

The Map Stone for this location is located at the bottom of a flight of stairs on the left side of Rivendell.

Minikit Room

The Minikit Room is a special room that can be accessed by entering the building marked with a Minikit Chest on the left side of Rivendell. In this room, players can view Minikit builds.

  • Elrond (Second Age)*
    • After completing the Prologue level, near the Map Stone location, go up the southern stairs and go west. Use a wizard character to build a ladder of rocks and climb them to reach a walkway. Continue to the left of the walkway to find this character. He costs 200,000 studs and only appears during Night.
  • Bilbo Baggins*
    • After completing the Prologue level, at the western end of Rivendell, you will find this character. He costs 125,000 studs.
  • Elrond (Third Age)
    • After completing The Pass of Caradhras level, go up the stairs in the middle of Rivendell and go around the left side of the moat. There, use an archer character to shoot arrows into two holes (one is covered by a rock) and swing along the bars until you reach a rock on a tightrope. Walk the tightrope as a surefooted character, then switch to an archer character, shoot two arrows into two holes (one is covered by a rock), and swing on the bars until you reach the top of the ledge. There, destroy a stone on the right side and use a small character to enter a hatch and reach a balcony. There, go to the south side to find this character. He costs 200,000 studs.
  • Gloin*
    • After completing The Pass of Caradhras level, at the easternmost point of Rivendell (to the right of the waterfall), you will see a cave blocked by silver rocks. Destroy the silver rocks with the Berserker's bombs to free Gloin. He costs 25,000 studs.

    • Follow the path to the right of the northernmost building with the moat. Shoot a lily pad with an archer character and jump to a handhold in the foundation of the building. Move to the left to find an alcove where there is a female elf. Talk to her to begin her quest. She will ask you for some Mithril Gloves, which you can obtain in the Warg Attack level. When you have the Mithril Gloves, give it to the elf to complete the quest and she will allow you to buy this Red Brick. It costs 250,000 studs.

Collectables

• Mithril Bricks
  1. On the raised walkway near the Map Stone of this location, further left of the Blacksmith Design, you will find a male elf. Talk to him to begin his quest. He will ask you for a Luminous Stone, which you can get in The Pass of Caradhras level. When you have the Luminous Stone, give it to the elf to complete the quest and he will give you this Mithril Brick as a reward.
  2. On the western side of Rivendell, you'll see a cracked tile on top of a broken pillar. Grab Gimli or Gloin and throw him towards the cracked tile to destroy it and reveal a target. Then, switch to an archer character and shoot the target inside. This will extend three platforms behind the pillar. Jump over them to reach this Mithril Brick.
  3. Below the western 'L' shaped building in the center of Rivendell, destroy the rubble on the grid path and push the block to the end. Use a small character to enter through a hatch and reach the balcony above with a male elf. Talk to him to begin his quest. He will ask you for a Quill, which you can get in the Weathertop level. When you have the Quill, give it to the elf to complete the quest and he will give you this Mithril Brick as a reward.
  4. On the balcony of the building where you buy Elrond (Third Age), destroy six bouncing statues within a time limit to obtain this Mithril Brick.
  5. On the path on the east side of the moat, use a character with super strength to open a door. You will come to a room with three heads like statues. Jump to the stone pillars on the left, switch to a character with bucket, and fill your bucket with water. Jump on the springy leaf to reach the vines above, then jump to the top of the giant stone head and use the bucket to put out the fire. This will raise the head, allowing you to grab the crank underneath. Take it back to the entrance and connect it to a mechanism. Turn it to raise the head to the right. Enter the hatch below with a small character, and on the other side, use a character with Elven Rope to pull a yellow hook. This will raise the head from the middle. Hit a tomb to open it and reveal this Mithril Brick.
  6. On the southeast side of the north building, switch to a character with axe and destroy a cracked tile there to raise a stone pillar. Jump and go up the zigzag path. Then, shoot a target with an archer character to extend a bridge. Walk through the tunnel at the end and hit a tomb to reveal this Mithril Brick.
  7. On the easternmost building, use a character with Elven Rope to climb the yellow hook on the left side. Then, climb the building as a high-jumper character and walk along a plank until you reach a spot marked with leaves. Swing on some bars until you reach this Mithril Brick.
  8. On the outside right side of the building with the previous Mithril Brick, use a character capable of breaking Morgul objects to destroy a Morgul lock and open a tomb with this Mithril Brick.
  9. Head east along a cliff, jumping along small islands to reach a waterfall. Jump across it and once inside the cavern, head left down the winding hallway. Climb a wall with Gollum and switch to a gardener character to grow a plant near a ledge. Use the spring blade to jump to the top of the faceless stone head and use a character with axe to destroy a cracked tile there and find this Mithril Brick.
  10. At the top near the ledge with the previous Mithril Brick, switch to a surefooted character and jump onto a tightrope. Then, swing on the bars (you'll have to shoot an arrow into a hole with an archer character) and use the vine to reach this Mithril Brick.

    • At the place where you buy Elrond (Second Age), head further left and jump between two pillars next to the passage to find this Blacksmith Design.
