Star Wars: Episode III — Revenge of the Sith is the third and final episode in the Game Boy Advance version of LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game.

Story[]

Three years after Episode II, the Clone Wars are in motion. Obi-Wan Kenobi and Anakin Skywalker board their Jedi Starfighters and fly to the Invisible Hand to rescue Chancellor Palpatine, who had been captured by General Grievous. Anakin explores the Invisible Hand, but then gets trapped in an elevator that breaks, so he calls R2-D2 to fix it. R2-D2 faces many Battle Droids, Super Battle Droids, and Droidekas, but fortunately, he manages to fix the elevator and return to Anakin. Anakin and Obi-Wan manage to find Palpatine, but before they can rescue him, Count Dooku arrives. Dooku knocks out Obi-Wan with his Electric Forces (similar to how he did in Droid Factory), but Anakin is not knocked out and kills Dooku. The Jedi rescue Palpatine and abandon the Invisible Hand.

On Kashyyyk, five Clone Troopers attack the Battle Droids, but then end up being captured. Yoda arrives and, with the help of Chewbacca, saves the five Clone Troopers. The duo then venture into Kashyyyk defeating the droids.

Obi-Wan pursues Grievous on Utapau, but realizing that his astromech droid, R4-P17, is in danger, he arrives to rescue her in time. R4-P17 then helps Obi-Wan destroy three turrets. Obi-Wan then encounters General Grievous and the two fight. Finally, Obi-Wan kills Grievous.

Back on Kashyyyk, Palpatine executes Order 66, so the Clone Troopers turn against Yoda and Chewbacca. Yoda then returns to where he came from so he can escape the planet.

Back on Utapau, Obi-Wan enters a cave and is also attacked by Clone Troopers when Palpatine executes Order 66. Obi-Wan then escapes the cave to return to his Jedi Starfighter.

Obi-Wan travels to Mustafar, where Anakin and Amidala argue. However, upon noticing Obi-Wan's presence, Anakin uses Force Choke to knock out Amidala. At that moment, Obi-Wan realizes that his best friend has become a Sith. Obi-Wan chases Anakin and then the two duel. In the end, Obi-Wan wins the duel and throws Anakin into the lava, burning him. Some time later, Palpatine and Clone Troopers take Anakin and put him in black Sith armor, turning him into Darth Vader.

Characters[]

Differences from the film[]

  • The game only has two scenes of the Battle of Coruscant. Buzz Droids do not appear in the game, so R4-P17 is not destroyed in the game, as she accompanies Obi-Wan on Utapau.
  • Anakin still uses his Episode II appearance in the game.
  • Anakin is never trapped in an elevator in the film.
  • The heroes abandon the Invisible Hand after rescuing Palpatine, so they do not find General Grievous and the scene where the Invisible Hand crashes on Coruscant is omitted.
  • The Jedi do not end up captured after rescuing Palpatine.
  • All scenes in which Yoda reaches Kashyyyk and then escapes are omitted.
  • Yoda and Chewbacca save five Clone Troopers on Kashyyyk. In the film, they do not save Clone Troopers and never attack droids until Order 66.
  • There are no STAPs or Droidekas on Kashyyyk in the film.
  • There are no Phase II Clone Troopers in the game, making this and the console/PC version of LEGO Star Wars III: The Clone Wars as being the only LEGO Star Wars games without them.
  • The scene where Obi-Wan uses Boga to chase Grievous on his motorcycle is omitted.
  • Commander Cody is not present in the game; Instead, R4-P17 is Obi-Wan's companion on Utapau.
  • Similar to Episode II, Obi-Wan remains in his Episode I outfit.
  • As in the home console version, the Clone Troopers and Separatist Droids work as a team instead of continuing to fight when Order 66 is given.
  • Obi-Wan does not escape from a cave in the film, although this did also happen in the handheld versions of the Revenge of the Sith video game.
  • All scenes where many Jedi die during Order 66 are omitted.
  • The scene where Anakin kills many young men is omitted.
  • All Coruscant scenes are omitted.
  • Amidala still wears her outfit from Episode II.
  • Obi-Wan fights Super Battle Droids and Clone Troopers when fighting Anakin on Mustafar. In the film, there are no Super Battle Droids or Clone Troopers on Mustafar.
  • Obi-Wan and Anakin fight on the big rock instead of a platform.
  • As in the home console version, the scene where Yoda and Palpatine fight is omitted.
  • The scene in which Padmé dies and Luke and Leia are born is omitted, resulting in the GBA version of the game being the only LEGO Star Wars game to not have Luke and Leia.
  • Darth Vader does not realize that Amidala died. The episode ends then, also omitting the final scenes of the film.
