Return to Tatooine is the sixth level in the Game Boy Advance version of LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game. It is the first level of Attack of the Clones.
Story[]
Ten years after Episode I, Anakin Skywalker has a nightmare in which his mother, Shmi Skywalker, is hunted by Tusken Raiders. Anakin wakes up and goes to Tatooine with Padmé Amidala. There, they rescue two Royal Guards from Tusken Raiders, enter Mos Eisley, and speak with Watto. Watto tells the heroes that Shmi has married a moisture farmer named Cliegg Lars. The heroes go to Lars' moisture farm and Cliegg himself tells them to build five antennas before telling them where Shmi went. After building five antennas, Cliegg tells Anakin and Amidala that a month ago, Shmi was kidnapped by a group of Tusken Raiders. Angry, Anakin leaves alone in a speeder to find Shmi. Fortunately, he arrives at a Tusken Raider Camp, where he finds his mom tied and beaten inside a tent. By bad luck, Shmi dies within seconds and Anakin is attacked by twenty-five Tusken Raiders. By his good luck, Anakin survives the invasion and later returns to Amidala.
Walkthrough[]
Anakin Returns[]
You start in the dunes. Go left to find a Royal Guard on the roof of a building surrounded by four Tusken Raiders. With Anakin, you can press the R button to use his lightsaber like a boomerang, which is good for defeating the Tusken Raiders due to their kick attacks. Defeat the four Tusken Raiders to save the Royal Guard. The Royal Guard will give you many studs as thanks. Continue down the path you took in the Tatooine level and you will encounter another Royal Guard surrounded by four more Tusken Raiders. Defeat the four Tusken Raiders to save the Royal Guard and he will give you a Land Speeder. Get on it and use Anakin's Force on it to move it and cross the large chasm. Continue continuing along the path defeating the Tusken Raiders to go to the arrow that points you to the next area.
Mos Eisley[]
In the next area, you will be in Mos Eisley. The layout of the area is the same as the Tatooine level, only there are fewer Tusken Raiders and, since you don't have R2-D2, you don't need to hover to a platform and step on a button. Near the second chasm where the second button was, you can buy a Repair Droid by paying 25 studs to a Jawa in case you run out of health. It is also advisable to break objects to get power-ups such as one that restores your full health. When you reach the place where Watto is, talk to him to move to the next area.
Moisture Farm[]
The next area is very different, as it is a completely new part of the level rather than being recycled from the Tatooine level. You will meet Cliegg Lars, who will ask you to build five antennas marked at the bottom right of the screen. Use Anakin's Force to build one of these. The first one is to your right at the starting point. You will find the second one by going to the bottom of the area, after falling off a cliff. You can go back up by going up the lower building, first in the center and then to the right. You will find the third one by going to the top left of the previous one. It's surrounded by two Tusken Raiders, so defeat them first. You will see a cutscene where Tusken Raiders come out of caves. Go to the caves at the top of the area and use Anakin's Force to close them. There are four caves: two on the left wall and two on the opposite wall. The Tusken Raiders will also leave in a Sandcrawler that you will also have to close with Anakin's Force. You'll find the fourth antenna on the left side of the area, near a cave. A little to the right of the previous one, you will find the fifth and last antenna. Once you have built all five antennas, go to Cliegg and talk to him by pressing Select to proceed to the final area of the level.
Tusken Raider Camp[]
In the final area of the level, you will see a cutscene where Anakin finds his mother Shmi, but she ends up dying. When you take control of Anakin, you will have to defeat 25 Tusken Raiders. They can be very difficult to defeat due to their kick attacks, but it is best to enter tents and buy items from the Jawas. It is recommended to visit the first tent, as the Jawa there has a Repair Droid. If you go down the cliff and up the hill on the right, you can find a full health power-up on top of a tent. It is also advisable to get a higher damage buff which you can find at the bottom right of the area. The level will end when you defeat 25 Tusken Raiders, but not all of them.
Collectables[]
S means that the collectible can be obtained both in Story and in Free Play. F means the collectible can only be obtained in Free Play.
To get all the collectibles in this level, you will need high-jumper character like Jar Jar or Darth Maul. It is recommended to purchase Jar Jar as he costs 1,000 studs and can be purchased after finishing Naboo Forest.
- Death Star Plans
- (F) Near where you rescue the first Royal Guard, use the selected high-jumper character to reach the roof with this Death Star Plan.
- (S) As you pass the hallway filled with Tusken Raiders in the second area, go to the lower right hallway to find this Death Star Plan.
- (F) Near where you get the second Death Star Plan, use the selected high-jumper character to reach the roof of a building and reveal this Death Star Plan.
- (S) Before heading down the cliff in the fourth area, jump across the platforms to the far right platform to reach this Death Star Plan. You can jump to the platform near the third tent if you fall.
- (S) At the top of the third tent in the fourth area, jump to the platform on the right to reach this Death Star Plan. It can be very difficult to get to because of how far it is.
Unlockables[]
After completing the level, you will be able to purchase Anakin. After obtaining all the Death Star Plans, Yoda will tell you the following code: →, →, ↓, ↑, →, L. When you enter it in the pause menu, characters will be super fast for a limited time. You can also continue with Geonosian Droid Factory.
