Star Wars: Episode VI — Return of the Jedi is the sixth and final episode in the Nintendo DS version of LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga.
Story[]
Almost a year after the events of Episode V, Darth Vader arrives on the Death Star II and sees the Imperial Engineers taking a coffee break instead of working. Vader becomes angry at his lack of progress. Meanwhile, on Tatooine, C-3PO and R2-D2 arrive at Jabba's Palace. Princess Leia and Chewbacca follow them. Leia disguised herself as the Bounty Hunter Boushh. They meet Luke Skywalker, who is now a Jedi Knight. They fight Gamorrean Guards and rescue R2 and 3PO. They finally find Han Solo. Leia frees Han, but she and her friends are captured by Jabba the Hutt. Jabba makes Leia his slave and takes his prisoners to the Great Pit of Carkoon, where he plans to feed Luke to a Sarlacc. Luke plays on the skiff plank while R2 throws his lightsaber at the Skiff Guard, killing him. Luke grabs his lightsaber and he, along with Lando, Han, and Chewie, fight on the skiffs until they encounter Boba Fett. They defeat him, rendering his jetpack inoperative. He then lands on the Sarlacc, which burps him up as it swallows him. They rescue Leia, R2, and 3PO from Jabba (in an off-screen scene) and blow up the Sail Barge before escaping.
The Rebels go to the forest moon of Endor to disable the new Death Star's shield generator. Luke stumbles, alerting the Scout Trooper to his presence. Luke and Leia chase the Scout Troopers on Speeder Bikes and destroy a landing pad.
When they encounter Han, Chewie, R2, and 3PO, they are captured by Ewoks. In the Ewok Village, Luke tells Leia that Vader is his father and she is his sister, before leaving to fight Vader. The Rebels are accepted as part of the tribe. An Ewok named Wicket decides to help the Rebels disable the Death Star's shield generator. They fight their way to the bunker and blow up the generator, although a satellite dish falls on Han.
Luke goes to confront his father Darth Vader. Vader brings his son to the Emperor, who uses Force Lightning against him. Vader becomes Anakin Skywalker once again and blocks the Lightning that nearly kills Luke. Luke and Vader team up to fight the Emperor and his Imperial Guards. Vader throws the Emperor into the abyss. However, Force Lightning weakens Anakin. Luke takes off Vader's helmet to see Anakin. Anakin then dies. Luke left the Death Star with Anakin's body on his ship.
The Rebel Fleet arrives near the Death Star. Lando pilots the Millennium Falcon and sinks four Star Destroyers. The Falcon enters into the Death Star and blows it up, escaping with flames chasing it as it explodes. The Ewoks celebrate as Han and Leia kiss.
Luke incinerates Vader and Anakin's ghost emerges. As the Ewoks celebrate, Luke sees the ghosts of Ben, Yoda, and Anakin together.

Differences from the film[]
- In the film, Darth Vader tells the Grand Moff that the Emperor believes work on the second Death Star is progressing slowly. In the game, Vader points out some workers who are slacking off and one of them is spinning around in a chair.
- In the film, R2 and 3PO enter Jabba's Palace and meet Bib Fortuna. In the game, they are only seen entering the palace and all of their scenes inside the palace are omitted.
- In the film, Leia is disguised as a bounty hunter and delivers Chewie to Jabba the Hutt. In the game, the two infiltrate Jabba's palace together and are joined shortly after by Luke.
- Leia takes off her Boushh disguise after thawing out Han.
- Jabba interrupts Leia before she can kiss Han.
- Luke fails to use the Force to pull out a blaster.
- The battle against the Rancor is omitted. Instead, Jabba's trap is to summon many Palace Guards and Gamorrean Guards.
- In the film, Luke steps off the skiff's plank, bounces, and catches his lightsaber thrown by R2 without wasting any time. In the game, when he makes his first jump, the executioner cowers in fear, but Luke continues jumping, looking happy in the air. When R2 fires Luke's lightsaber, it lands on the executioner's head, killing him. Luke then takes his lightsaber.
- The scene where Leia kills Jabba is omitted.
- All scenes between leaving Jabba the Hutt's palace and arriving at Endor are omitted: Yoda's death, the Emperor's arrival, and the Alliance assembly.
- In the film, Han joins Luke and Leia on Endor and stomps on a twig while sneaking up behind a Scout Trooper. In the game, Luke and Leia are alone on Endor, where Luke stumbles, alerting the Scout Trooper to his presence.
- Leia does not know the Ewoks individually; instead, she meets them along with her friends.
- The Ewoks don't use a trap to capture the Rebels.
- The scene of the group's preparations to be cooked by the Ewoks is omitted.
- The scene of 3PO recounting the Rebellion's fight against the Empire to the Ewoks around a campfire is omitted.
- After the Ewoks agree to help in the rebellion, Leia tries to kiss Luke, who refuses, knowing that she is his sister.
- The Ewok battle, the space battle, and the battle with the Emperor occur one after the other, not at the same time.
- The Battle of Endor takes place before Luke leaves for the Death Star, but Luke does not participate in the battle.
- After destroying the shield generator, one of the smaller plates lands on Han.
- Luke's fight with Vader is omitted. Instead, Luke and Vader fight the Emperor together.
- In the film, Luke resists the temptation of the Dark Side and is attacked by the Emperor until Vader changes his mind and throws the Emperor into the abyss. In the game, the Emperor immediately attacks Luke when he arrives and Vader joins Luke in fighting the Emperor, ultimately throwing him into the abyss. Despite this, the game was designed for single player.
- Vader's helmet is made of one piece instead of two.
- After Anakin's death, an emotional Luke enters the Imperial Shuttle and closes the door, causing Anakin to slide inside the ship.
- In the film, the disabled Super Star Destroyer falls toward the Death Star. In the game, several regular Star Destroyers fall towards the Death Star.
- The Ewoks not only use the troopers' helmets as drums during the celebration, but also as hats.
- In the film, Han and Leia kiss before the celebration. In the game, as they lean in to kiss, Wicket interrupts them and Han places a plant on him so he can continue undisturbed.
- In the film, Anakin's spirit does not appear until Luke burns Vader's armor. In the game, Anakin's spirit appears on the pyre itself, pretending to warm his hands on it.
- Galaxy-wide celebrations are omitted.
- In the film, Luke sees the spirits of Obi-Wan, Yoda, and Anakin standing by a railing on a raised platform, smiling approvingly. In the game, he sees Obi-Wan, Anakin standing by the railing, and Yoda sitting on it.
- In the ending scene, Lando wears his usual outfit instead of Pilot.
