Story[]
Almost a year after the events of Episode V, on Tatooine, Leia, disguised as Boushh, and Chewbacca infiltrate Jabba's Palace to rescue Han. Upon entering the palace, they rescue Luke, who is now a Jedi Knight, from some Gamorrean Guards. They deactivate three barriers protecting Han and enter Jabba's chamber, where they find Lando disguised as Palace Guard. They dodge some lasers and finally rescue Han. However, they are then captured by Jabba the Hutt, who triggers a trap that leads Luke, Leia, Lando, and Chewie (Han in version 1.1) to fight the Rancor. They defeat the Rancor by closing a door on it, but are then taken to the Great Pit of Carkoon. Leia then becomes Jabba's slave.
At the Great Pit of Carkoon, as the Skiff Guards plan to feed Luke a Sarlacc, R2-D2 throws his lightsaber at him. Luke grabs his lightsaber, frees Han and Lando, and then they fight the Skiff Guards. They then fight Boba Fett on the skiffs, but instead of defeating him, they simply send him flying to the top of the barge. C-3PO and R2-D2 help the trio onto the barge, while the droids go to the ship's deck. There, they ask Jabba to free Leia. This works and they climb to the top of the barge. There, the droids escape, while Luke teams up with Leia to defeat Boba Fett once and for all. Upon doing so, Boba loses control of his jetpack and falls into the Sarlacc, swallowing him, while the Sail Barge is destroyed. Luke and Leia then use a grappling hook to escape.
The rebels then head to Endor to destroy the Death Star's shield generator. There, Han falls down a hill and encounters a Scout Trooper. Meanwhile, Leia pursues the Scout Troopers on a speeder bike and destroys an ATST. However, she falls off the speeder bike and encounters an Ewok named Wicket.
Luke and Han search for Leia until they find her helmet on the ground, implying that she disappeared. As they ask how she disappeared, Chewie chases after an Ewok, but then he, along with Luke and Han, are captured. Later, in the Ewok Village, two Ewoks are captured by Scout Troopers, leading Wicket to free Han, Chewie, and Luke. However, Luke stays with Wicket, while Han and Chewie rescue the two captured Ewoks. After rescuing the two Ewoks, Wicket thanks Han and Chewie and, along with the latter, heads to a landing pad. There, they steal an ATST and use it to lay waste to an Imperial bunker. R2-D2 attempts to open it, but in doing so, is destroyed. Luke, Wicket and Chewie try to open it with a Stormtrooper helmet and succeed. Doing so causes Han to enter the bunker early, so Luke and Wicket follow him. They manage to blow up the generator, which surprises Leia.
The Rebel Fleet arrives near the Death Star II. Lando Calrissian pilots the Millennium Falcon and sinks three Star Destroyers. The Falcon enters the Death Star and blows it up, escaping with flames chasing it as it blew up.
Luke goes to confront his father Darth Vader. When Vader brings his son to the Emperor, he becomes Anakin Skywalker again and decides to help Luke defeat the Emperor. Luke and Vader fight the Emperor and his Guards. The Emperor manages to fly, but Luke and Vader still punch him back to the ground. Vader throws the Emperor into a pit, but is then weakened. Luke takes off Vader's helmet to see Anakin. Anakin then dies, so Luke screams in horror. Luke leaves the Death Star II.
As the Ewoks celebrate, Luke sees the ghosts of Obi-Wan, Yoda, and Anakin together.

Differences from the film[]
- The scene of Darth Vader visiting the construction of the second Death Star is omitted.
- Leia does not hand Chewie over to Jabba.
- Lando is never detained in Jabba's Palace in the game.
- The Palace Guards are absent from the game.
- Bib Fortuna is absent from the game.
- In Jabba's Palace, Han Solo wears his usual clothes instead of Sarlacc Pit.
- Not only is Luke in the arena against the Rancor, but so are Leia and Lando. In version 1.0, Chewie is also in the arena, but is replaced by Han in version 1.1.
- R2-D2 and C-3PO do not appear until the Great Sarlacc Pit level.
- Luke, Han and Lando do not use turrets to defeat Boba Fett in the film.
- Instead of feeding Boba Fett the Sarlacc, Luke, Han, and Lando simply send him flying to the top of the barge.
- Leia doesn't kill Jabba. Instead, Jabba lets her go with the droids.
- Instead of using a loose cable, Luke and Leia use their own separate grappling hooks to escape the Sail Barge's destruction.
- The scenes between leaving Jabba's palace and arriving at Endor (Yoda's death, the Emperor's arrival, the Alliance assembly) are omitted.
- Just like in the Jabba's Palace scenes, in the first Endor scene, Han wears his normal clothes instead of his Endor clothes.
- In version 1.0, the scene where Leia meets the Ewoks is omitted, but was added in version 1.1.
- The Ewoks capture Luke, Han, and Chewie by attacking them by surprise instead of trapping them in a net.
- The scene in which Luke tells Leia that Vader is his father and she is his sister is omitted.
- Wicket does not call for Ewok reinforcements during the Battle of Endor.
- As in the home console version, the Battle of Endor occurs before Luke goes to the Death Star. However, unlike the home console version, Luke participates in the battle.
- In the game, R2-D2 attempts to open the Imperial bunker, only to be destroyed. However, somehow, he is repaired for the victory celebration.
- The Battle of Endor involves not only Stormtroopers and Scout Troopers, but also Death Star Troopers, while Imperial Officers are replaced by Shuttle Pilots.
- Leia is surprised when Han, Luke and Wicket blow up the generator.
- During the Endor Space Battle, the TIE Bombers are replaced by TIE Advanced.
- The battle against the Emperor occurs after the Endor Space Battle, even after the destruction of the Death Star II. However, the player will likely replay the same level, but from a different perspective.
- Luke never cuts off Vader's right mechanical hand in the game. Instead, Vader helps Luke defeat Palpatine. The cause of this is unknown, as the game is designed for single player.
- The Emperor never flies in the film.
- Like the home console version, Vader's helmet is made of one piece instead of two due to it being LEGO.
- When Anakin dies, instead of being sad, Luke screams in horror.
- The scene where Han and Leia kiss is omitted.
- The Ewoks never use troopers' helmets as drums during celebration.
- In the ending scene, Lando wears his usual outfit instead of Pilot.
- If the player completes the last level as Darth Vader, the ending scene will play with battle music instead of celebration for some reason. Additionally, a Dark Force will appear on Wicket and then an Ewok.
- Similarly, in version 1.0, a Force can appear on Wicket and then on an Ewok if the player finishes the last level as Luke.
- Galaxy-wide celebrations are omitted.
