A NEW HOPE |
Chapter 4 |
RESCUE THE PRINCESS |
Imprisoned in the Death Star, |
Princess Leia still refuses to reveal |
the location of the Rebel Base to the |
evil Darth Vader. |
Meanwhile, Luke Skywalker and Obi- |
Wan Kenobi have commissioned Han |
Solo to take them to Leia's home |
planet of Alderaan. Escaping from |
Imperial forces on Tatooine, they |
make the jump through hyperspace. |
But Alderaan has disappeared, its |
population a victim of Darth Vader's |
impatience - and in its place, they |
find only the deadley shadow of the |
Death Star.... |
Story[]
The Millennium Falcon jumped out of hyperspace at the remains of Alderaan. A TIE Fighter attacked the Falcon and Han followed it to the Death Star, where the ship lost control. Darth Vader commanded Stormtroopers to search the ship, but Han Solo and Luke Skywalker stole the Stormtroopers' armor. Han walked out and when he saw Vader, he put on a Stormtrooper helmet and tried to act casual. Vader senses Ben Kenobi on the ship, but walks away. Han dropped the helmet and he and the gang headed to an elevator. They found out that Princess Leia was held prisoner on the Death Star. Ben went to disable the tractor beam, R2-D2 and C-3PO hid and Han, Luke and Chewbacca went to rescue the Princess. When they found Leia, she shot the garbage chute hatch. They jumped into the garbage chute, although Han had to tempt Chewie with a bone.
Walkthrough[]
First you start in an area near the elevator. Use the Force to turn a door into a TIE Fighter model and you can continue, then put on a Stormtrooper helmet to interact with the imperial panel to open the door, then build a camera system for R2-D2 to interact with the panel to open another door and proceed to the next area.
Then removing Ben Kenobi, R2-D2 and C-3PO from your team, keep going by defeating some Stormtroopers to continue to the next area.
In the next area, just keep going until you get to a part where you have to kill an army of Stormtroopers at the bottom for Ben Kenobi to give you a hand with his Force to put up platforms so you can continue. Then destroy some bombs that block your path step to go to the next area.
In the next area, make sure you take a Stormtrooper helmet from the previous area to open the door and proceed to the next area.
In the next area, build a mechanism to move the platform and use hooks to climb up to the platform where the door to the next area is.
In the next area, defeat all the enemies, build an imperial panel and remember to have one of your characters wear a Stormtrooper helmet to open the door and go to the elevator to the final area of the level.
In the final area, destroy cameras so Stormtroopers don't spawn and you can build two objects so you can activate two levers. Activate the two levers to open the door to the jail room. Open the one next to a duct to find the Princess Leia. Then press one button while the AI with the other to free her and finish the level.
Collectables[]
S means that the collectible can be obtained both in Story and in Free Play. F means the collectible can only be obtained in Free Play.
- Minikit Canisters
- (S) In the first Imperial panel area, go to the right and use a crane to grab Stormtroopers and drop them into the pit so the minikit will appear and can be grabbed.
- (S) Use a protocol droid to open an elevator that will hold the minikit inside.
- (F) In the area where Ben and the others split up, use an astromech droid to go through the gap and go to the hallway where Ben would go in the story and to the left you will find a room with a window where the minikit is.
- (F) In the same area as the previous minikit, use an astromech droid to get to a platform and use a hook character to get to a higher platform and use a kid to enter the hatch to get the minikit.
- (F) After the area where you got the previous two minikits, you will find yourself in the area where Ben would help you in the story. Use the Force to turn the walls into platforms and activate the three levers to make a minikit appear on top, then switch to a hook character to get this minikit.
- (F) In the area that would be the part after the previous minikit, use the Force to turn the door into platforms and double jump on them to get the minikit.
- (F) In the area where you pass the platform that leads to the penultimate area of the level, use an astromech droid to get to the platform that this minikit is on.
- (S) In the penultimate area of the level, break all the screens the Stormtroopers would see before attacking you to reveal a screen of an army of Stormtroopers and the minikit.
- (F) Near the elevator, use the Force to create a tower of boxes and push an object to break a grate containing the minikit.

- In the third area, if you follow Obi-Wan's path after using a hover character, go to the left side of the Tractor Beam to find this blue minikit.
- After obtaining the previous blue minikit, go to the area on the left and destroy a cylinder on the right side to reveal this blue minikit.
- In the third area, if you follow Luke, Han, and Chewie's path, use a double jump character over two red barrels to reach this blue minikit in the air.
- A little to the right of the previous blue minikit, use an astromech droid inside one of the two elevators to go to a special area with this blue minikit in the middle.
- At the end of the third area, you will find this blue minikit a little to the left of the door leading to the fourth area.
- At the beginning of the sixth area, you will find this blue minikit on top of a terminal in the middle.
