Princess Rescue is the tenth custom level of the original adventures portion from LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues. It is the fifth and final custom level of Temple of Doom.
Walkthrough[]
Level Prelude[]
You will need a character with a sword to access this level, either Thuggee or Pankot Assassin. To the left of the entrance to Pankot Palace, there is a cable that supports a box of LEGO bricks. Use a sword to cut the wire and drop the box, then build a ladder out of the loose pieces. Go up and jump to the ledge on the left. The entrance to this level is at the back, behind the large pot.
Level Walkthrough[]
You start at the bottom side of a pool. Have each character take a spear from one of the shelves near the center of the room. Throw the spears into the 2 sockets on the right wall, then use them to cross the water to the ledge on the other side. Then pull a lever to raise a set of platforms in the pool, making it easier for you to cross the water next time. Have Indy go up the ladder behind the lever and use his whip to pull the orange ring on the left side of the alcove. This will open the door on the left. Use a ladder to climb up and grab the shovel inside the small room, then use it to dig up the silver rocks below. Use the British Commander to destroy the silver rocks to reveal a wrench, then grab it to repair a generator. This will activate a set of moving platforms on the left. Make your way back to the ledge in the foreground, either by jumping across the platforms, or by swimming to the right side, where you can climb out of the water. Head left and jump across the moving platform onto the ledge with the flames on it. Use the handholds on the left wall to reach the ledge above. From there, grab water bottles from a chest and throw them into the flames to put them out. Pull a lever to open the door at the top right. Have a character climb up that door using the handholds on the left to reach the ledge with the water bottles, then jump to grab the handhold on the back wall, climb up to the right, then jump onto the ledge on the right. Have both characters step on 2 red buttons, both the top and bottom ones, so that a platform just to the right starts moving up and down. Swim to that platform and use it to reach the alcove above with the Artifact. Grab the Artifact to end the level.
