Princess Leia is a character that is playable in LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy.

Story

Leia got some secret plans for the Death Star from a machine, along side Captain Antilles she tries to escape the ship. From this point the player controls the characters, the player help some Rebel Troopers that are attacking few Stormtroopers. The player moves around the level and come across a small dark hallway. Here she finds R2-D2 where she records herself seeking help from Ben Kenobi, she also drops the plans inside R2-D2. After this short cut-scene Leia goes away. We see her again at the end cut-scene , now she is caught by two Stormtroopers. Darth Vader asks for the plans but Leia lies and doesn't know what Vader is talking about.

At Luke's old house, R2-D2 shows the recordings of Leia needing for help. Ben Kenobi seems happy to help save the princes.

We see Leia on the Death Star, Grand Moff Tarkin ask Leia for the location of the secret rebel base. But Leia doesn't seem to be impressed. As reaction Tarkin activates the Death Star and destroys Alderaan. Leila start to cry after the destruction of her home planet.

Meanwhile Han Solo, Ben Kenobi, Luke Skywalker, C-3PO and R2-D2 arrive on the Death Star to safe the princess. After arriving at a huge machine, R2-D2 finds the cell where Leia is kept prisoner. Ben tells the group that he will safe the princess. But Luke, Han and Chewbacca go anyway, they eventually arrive at the cell here we find Leia trapped behind a ray shield, after stepping on both buttons the princess is free. But they are under attack by Stormtroopers, Leia asks Luke for his blaster and shoots few troops and a small vent. The group decides to jump inside the vent.

The group have landed inside a trash compector, they notice a escape door. Han shoots the door with his blaster but it causes the compactor to move. Leia, Luke, Han and Chewbacca were about to be crushed but fortunley R2-D2 and C-3PO save them by turning the compactor off. The group escapes the compactor and runs trough some hallways in the Death Star, eventually the groups ecapes on the Millennium Falcon with the princess save.

We can see the group alongside Leia being transported to the base. We can also see Leia during the congres of the secret plans. Princess Leia gives Han, Luke and Chewbacca a medal after destroying the Death Star.

Trivia

• If the player excludes characters from the Use Old Save extra, she is the only female character in the game.
  • Additionally, since characters from the Use Old Save extra cannot be used in the Mos Eisley Cantina, she is the only female character that can be used in the Cantina.
• Unlike the first game, she was given her own animations and vocal effects instead of re-using those of her mother.
