- In the game, Leia has the same animations and vocal effects as her mother Padmé, but with a red blaster shot instead of a green one and a different blaster shot sound which were changed in LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy where she has her own vocal effects and animations.
- This version of Leia is still in the files for LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga as PRINCESSLEIA (LSW1) since the developers forgot to remove her and she is fully functional and still uses Padmé's animations. She can even uses melee attacks which are the same as Padmé's which was not possible in the first game as it does not have melee attacks.
- Her character icon for the game would be re-used in the DS versions of both LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy and LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga.
