Police officers of the Gotham City Police Department were dispatched to respond to a breakout at Arkham Asylum.
LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes[]
Police officers responded to The Joker's attack at the Man-of-the-Year Award ceremony in Gotham City. They also arrived at Arkham Asylum after a breakout occurred. Police officers arrested The Joker and Lex Luthor after they caused chaos in a giant mech.

The police officer is a playable character and has three variants, Police Officer, Police Marksman and Military Policeman. They only appear (excluding cutscenes) in the villain levels. In both Stealing the Show and The Joker's Masterpiece, the police officer is an enemy, despite being a hero-like character.
