Story[]
Frodo helps Faramir trap Gollum to save him from being killed by the Rangers. Upon learning of the One Ring, Faramir takes his captives to Gondor to bring the Ring to his father Denethor. Passing through the besieged city of Osgiliath, Frodo attempts to explain to Faramir the true nature of the Ring, and Sam explains that Boromir was driven mad by its power. A Nazgûl nearly captures Frodo, who falls under the power of the Ring, but Sam saves him and reminds a disheartened Frodo that they are fighting for what good is left in Middle-earth. Impressed by Frodo's resolve, Faramir frees them. Feeling betrayed by his capture, Gollum decides that he will recover the Ring by taking Frodo to Shelob upon arriving at Cirith Ungol. Meanwhile, Enraged, Treebeard, and the Ents assault Isengard, trapping Saruman in his tower. Gandalf takes Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, and King Théoden of Rohan to Isengard, where they are reunited with Merry and Pippin. Gandalf recovers Saruman's palantír and the group returns to Edoras to celebrate their victory at Helm's Deep.
Frodo, who bears the Ring, and Sam continue their journey towards Mordor, unaware that Gollum, now their guide, plans to betray them and keep the Ring for himself.
Walkthrough[]
Level Prelude[]
After completing the previous level, you will see a cutscene where the Eye of Sauron will change its position from Osgiliath to Helm's Deep. When the scene ends, you will appear in Helm's Deep with Aragorn, Gimli, Legolas, and Gandalf the White. If you follow the path of ghost studs, you will see that Sauron's gaze will block access to the fortress, so you will not be able to do anything from the perspective of Aragorn, Gimli, Legolas and Gandalf. Your only option will be to switch to the perspective of Frodo, Sam, Gollum, Faramir and Madril. Press and hold the alternate attack button to open the character wheel and select Frodo, Sam, Faramir or Madril to switch to them.
From the perspective of Frodo, Sam, Gollum, Faramir and Madril, follow the path of ghost studs, and when you reach the place where Sauron's gaze should be, you will see that Sauron's gaze is no longer there to block your path. Go towards the indicated arrow to start this level.
Level Walkthrough[]
When you start the level, you will be split into two perspectives. From the perspective of Frodo, Sam and Gollum, the third will ask you for a sword. Enter the hatch on the left and the game will ask you to switch to Faramir. Press and hold the alternate attack button to open the character wheel and select Faramir to switch to him. From Faramir's perspective, use his bow to shoot a target in the background and make a pillar fall. Then, return to Frodo, Sam, and Gollum and jump to the other side using the fallen pillar as a platform. Switch to Sam, go down the stairs and use his Elven Rope on a hook to destroy some rocks. A closed door will block your path, so you'll have to switch to Faramir. From his perspective, head right. There, you will see that a rock thrown off-screen will break. Build a floor with the bricks received from the rock and push the pillars to the upper right corner so you can climb to the upper level. At the top of the tallest pillar, shoot a target in the distance to open the door. Return to Frodo, Sam, and Gollum and go through the newly opened door, only to find another closed door. Return to Faramir and shoot another target once more to open the door for the Hobbits and Gollum. After going through the open door, you will see a cutscene where in the tower you will see a Mordor Orc with a sword that you can use to free Gollum's hands. Switch to Frodo and use his flask to illuminate a dark alley. Destroy a door there and build a hatch with its pieces. Switch to Sam and enter the newly created hatch. You'll see a cutscene where a stone thrown off-screen destroys much of the tower, revealing a sword to free Gollum. Use Sam's Elven Rope on the hook hanging from the ceiling to build a trampoline. Then use it to reach the first floor of the tower. To go higher, switch to Faramir and you will see a cutscene where Mordor Orcs will destroy the rocks on the right. Defeat them and go right. There, shoot a Mordor Orc with a target to defeat it, build a ladder, climb it and shoot the target with an arrow. This will knock down some planks. Return to Frodo, Sam and Gollum, use the fallen planks to build a ladder, defeat the Mordor Orc at the top the tower and grab a sword. Go back down and use the sword to free Gollum. Now free, Gollum can climb walls marked with fish bones. Switch to him, climb the right wall, open the door below by turning a crank, and head further right. You'll see two Mordor Orcs atop a high ledge, so you'll need to switch to Faramir. Get off your ledge and head to the right as well. You will see that Mordor Orcs will destroy more rocks to the right. Defeat them and go up the stairs on the right. Shoot two targets, use the tiles to rebuild the floor and push the pillar to the left. Position yourself in the gap and shoot the two Mordor Orcs in the distance to defeat them, thus creating a path for the Hobbits and Gollum. Switch to Gollum, scale the wall and climb onto the ledge to push the statue down. It will destroy the stone block and therefore you can use Sam to place a plant. Use the plant leaf as a springboard and climb onto the ledge. Have Sam start a fire at the designated location.
Once again, you will encounter a Ringwraith riding a Black Wings. If you are close to him with Frodo, press the action button several times to get away from it without it taking the Ring from you. Switch to Faramir, defeat the Mordor Orcs who end up destroying a gate, and head right. Break the supports on the wall to create a gap through which you can shoot the Black Rider. Jump to the pillar next to it, shoot the Black Rider, and return to Frodo, Sam and Gollum. Go down the stairs on the right and use Sam's shovel to dig up a gear. Then, use it to complete a mechanism. To get a crank, you will have to fish it from the water. To do this, destroy the rocks blocking your path to the pier and switch to Gollum, as he can fish without using a fishing rod. After you get the crank, connect it to the rest of the mechanism and turn it to open the door on the right. Head to the other side and the Black Wings will appear once again. Switch to Faramir, go right and go down the stairs. A pair of Mordor Orcs will destroy the wall, allowing you to cleanly shoot the Black Wings. Defeat the Mordor Orcs and shoot the Black Wings from the destroyed wall. The Black Wings will bring down much of the ceiling. Head further to the right, build a ladder with the bricks on the ground and climb to the upper level. Switch to Frodo, Sam and Gollum and destroy three pillars on the right to build stairs with them. Climb them and the Fell Beast will appear once again. Return to Faramir and shoot the Black Wings to defeat it and move on to the next area.
In the next area, you will attack Isengard with Ents. Destroy practically everything in your path. Continue to the right and you will reach a cliff that you can only cross after knocking down a nearby tower. Continue further to the right and you'll see a cutscene where a Mordor Orc sets a wall on fire. Since Ents are afraid of fire, take the water tank on the right and throw it into the fire to put it out. Then move further north until you reach a dam. You will find some rocks on the ground. Use them to destroy the towers in the distance, thanks to which you can advance towards the dam. Get close to the suspensions and pull them by pressing the action button several times to destroy the dam and end the level.

- Bubble Pipe
- (F) From Faramir's perspective, after completing the pillar puzzle and defeating the first group of Mordor Orcs, on the ground floor you will see a Morgul gate. Use a character capable of breaking Morgul objects to destroy it and go to the underground to find this treasure. You can get out of there by building a ladder and then using it to return to the surface.

Destroy all the boxes below except three which you must arrange properly using a character with magic. The box with the tomatoes goes on the left, the box with the bananas goes in the center and the box with the oranges goes on the right. After placing the boxes correctly, a Gondor Soldier will give you this treasure. You can get out of that place by turning a crank to the right to open a door.
