Transcript[]
Go to the Crescent Park Wharf![]
- [Upon receiving a message from Chan]
- Chan Chuang: Driver!
- Chase McCain: I know nothing!
- Chan Chuang: Don't worry, most of my staff are morons. But not YOU! I LIKE YOU A LOT! Wait. I did that wrong...
- Chase McCain: Can I help you, sir?
- Chan Chuang: Yes! I have a job for you! Get to the Crescent Park Wharf! NOW! [He cuts the call]
- Chase McCain: Polite as ever.
Go to Apollo Island![]
- [Upon receiving a message from Chan after arriving at the Crescent Park Wharf]
- Chan Chuang: Are you there yet?
- Chase McCain: Yeah.
- Chan Chuang: This job was meant to be for Feng, but I can't find him. Or Li. Or Fu or Ping!
- Chase McCain: Maybe they're all getting coffee?
- Chan Chuang: Are you saying MY coffee is bad?! NO! Something's up, and the only men I have left are you and this bunch of dregs! Ugh. So! With all of my most trusted employees missing, you're going to have to do the job for me!
- Chase McCain: What is it?
- Chan Chuang: I'll give you the details later - no one can know about this! Just take my boat from the wharf and get to Apollo Island. [He cuts the call]
I have no idea, Ellie[]
- [Upon receiving a message from Ellie when the player is near Apollo Island]
- Chase McCain: Ellie? I'm on another job for Chan and I get the feeling it won't just be a sports car this time. I'm headed to Apollo Island.
- Ellie Phillips: What on earth could Rex want Chan to get from there?!
- Chase McCain: No idea. But this feels like a clue to me, Ellie. A big, fat clue. I'll update you once I know more. [He cuts the call]
Steal a Moon Buggy![]
- [Upon receiving a message from Chan after arriving at Apollo Island]
- Chan Chuang: Have you got to Apollo Island, Driver?
- Chase McCain: Yes, sir.
- Chan Chuang: Good. I want you to steal... A moon buggy!
- Chase McCain: Wah?
- Chan Chuang: Well what did you think I sent you to Apollo Island for? Ice cream?
- Chase McCain: Woulda been nice...
- Chan Chuang: Just get into the Space Center and steal a moon buggy! [He cuts the call]
Trying to Enter the Space Center[]
- Chase McCain: I should find a disguise so I can get into the Space Center.
- [When arriving just outside the Space Center]
- Chase McCain: Maybe I'll even find a space suit! That'd be so cool!
Welcome to the Space Center![]
- [Chase McCain is teleported to the Space Center control room]
- Rocket Announcer: [On the public address system] All engineering staff, please report to the shuttle bay!
- [A Space Scientist almost trips after falling from a small step]
- Space Scientist: Sheesh! That is one small step, foreman...
- Chase McCain: Perfect! While they're all busy working on the shuttle, I can just get to the moon buggy, which is... [He looks at the plans for a shuttle] somewhere...around... [He notices the moon buggy] there! [He realizes that it is in the middle of the shuttle] Oh! In the middle of the shuttle.
A Plan to Get to the Moon Buggy[]
- [Upon receiving a message from Ellie when starting the level]
- Chase McCain: Ellie? Chan wants me to take a moon buggy!
- Ellie Phillips: Wow.
- Chase McCain: Yeah. But I can't get to it because it's in the shuttle surrounded by mechanics and I'm in the control room.
- Ellie Phillips: Maybe you can do something to get their attention.
- Chase McCain: That's the last thing I want, isn't it?
- Ellie Phillips: No, because then they'll have to come to the control room, meaning you can sneak into the hangar.
- Chase McCain: Okay... I'll just try pressing some buttons, then. What's the worst that can happen? [He cuts the call]
Exploring the Control Room[]
- [If the player gets on the toy rocket seen at the beginning of the level]
- Chase McCain: So I guess flying a rocket is basically the same as being in a rodeo...
- [If the player is left waiting, the rocket announcer can say this]
- Rocket Announcer: [On a public address system off screen] Prepping space rocket for engine test. Confirming safety measures... And...yes. Handbrake is applied. Calculating optimal rocket flight path... Flight path calculated as...upwards. Checking shuttle air-freshener is still functional. I can confirm that we are pine fresh. I repeat: pine fresh. I'll need an engineer to check the SRB Nozzle Flex Bearing. And I'll need another engineer to tell me what the heck an SRB Nozzle Flex Bearing actually is. Is it the cup-holder?
- [When teleporting to the upper floor on the right]
- Chase McCain: Hehaha! Having your atoms scrambled by a teleport kinda tickles!
- [If the player tries to push the battery without repairing the chess floor]
- Chase McCain: It looks like this track's got a hole in it...
- [When the player tries to push the battery after repairing the chess floor]
- Chase McCain: Sheesh! I'm glad my watch doesn't take a battery this size!
- [Upon reaching the highest floor of the first area]
- Chase McCain: Now to find some way of getting all those workers out of the hangar...
- [When dropping and destroying the moving hanging astronomical object]
- Chase McCain: Yeah, that might get their attention. I hope that vent up there leads to the hangar.
- Rocket Announcer: Whoa! Power levels have dropped off the scale! All engineering staff return to control room and check systems.
Welcome to the Hangar![]
- Chase McCain: Ooh, I wonder if my driving license covers space rockets?
How to Get to the Moon Buggy?[]
- [Upon receiving a message from Ellie upon reaching the second area]
- Chase McCain: Ellie, how do I get the Moon Buggy outta the shuttle?
- Ellie Phillips: There should be a button you can press to open its delivery bay.
- Chase McCain: And that'd need power to work, right?
- Ellie Phillips: Yeah, why?
- Chase McCain: I think I broke the power supply back there. And now the control room is full of people.
- Ellie Phillips: Right... Hang on... It's okay, there should be some high-powered lasers in the hangar, you can use them to power up the shuttle. Wow, there is literally nothing you can't find with these online encyclopedias!
- Chase McCain: Ok. Anything else I should know?
- Ellie Phillips: The annual rainfall in LEGO City?
- Chase McCain: Thanks, Ellie. [He cuts the call]
Connecting Lasers[]
- [When powering the first connector]
- Male Computer: Laser one connected.
- [When powering the second connector]
- Male Computer: Laser two connected.
- [When powering the two connectors]
- Male Computer: Limited shuttle systems activated.
He's Taking a Moon Buggy![]
- [Two arguing astronauts realize that Chase is stealing a moon buggy]
- Drew Calhoun: Hey! That's my car!
- Cal Wainwright: It's not YOUR car! You are so possessive!
- Drew Calhoun: Fine, it's OUR car! But, it isn't his!
- Cal Wainwright: Come on!
- [The two astronauts begin to chase Chase, but not before Drew sets his cup down on the rest wall]
- Chase McCain: Chan's men better be waiting for me at the dock!
- [The level ends]
Survive While They Come![]
- [Upon receiving a message from Chan]
- Chan Chuang: Driver? Bad news, my men aren't waiting for you at the dock!
- Chase McCain: Yeah, I can see that!
- Chan Chuang: They're running late. And by running late I mean STILL SAT HERE ON THEIR BEHINDS - Oh. They've actually gone. Who am I going to shout at now?
- Chase McCain: They'll be here soon, right?
- Chan Chuang: I guess so. Just don't let the moon buggy get damaged until they get there. Uh... I'm going to go out to the street so I can yell at some strangers. See you, Driver. [He cuts the call]
Survived Apollo Island Security![]
- [If the player survives Apollo Island Security for one minute]
- Announcer: Attention, this is security. Everyone return to base!
- [The screen fades out and Chao Hui uses a control panel to open the fences of the Apollo Island dock]
Stolen Moon Buggy[]
- Chase McCain: About time, guys!
- [Chase gets out of the moon buggy and Chao drives it to the Ferry. The Ferry then heads to Kings Court Pier. The scene fades out and another one plays]
- Chao Hui: We'll take it from here. Don't follow us...
- [Chao Hui and Hai Chen drive the Ferry to Pagoda with the moon buggy. The chapter ends]
Story[]
Chan sends Chase to Apollo Island to steal a moon buggy (gaining an astronaut outfit along the way that can shoot a ray gun).
Walkthrough[]
LEGO City[]
After completing the previous chapter, you will be in the parking lot of Chan's Limo Company listening to a message from Chan. When you finish listening to the message, take someone else's vehicle and follow the path of ghost studs until you reach the designated place at the Crescent Park Wharf. There, you will hear another message from Chan, telling you to use his boat to go to Apollo Island. When you finish listening to the message, you will unlock the ability to use boats. Hop on Chan's boat and follow the path of ghost studs to make your way to Apollo Island. When you are near Apollo Island, you will hear a message from Ellie. After you finish listening to it, go to the designated spot for Chase to jump onto the dock on Apollo Island.
Suddenly, you will hear a message from Chan, asking you to steal a moon buggy. When you finish listening to it, you will see a cutscene of a destroyed Teleport Pad, and Chase saying that he needs a disguise to enter the Space Center. Go to the path ahead and use a control panel to open the fences. Get into the truck in front of you and head to the Space Center. You will see a scene of a box and that Chase needs a space suit. Walk up to the glass side door of the Space Center and use the Robber suit to open the door to a small room in the building. There, build a color swapper on the right and use it to change the color of your Color Gun from purple to blue. Then, destroy two display cases on the left to build a closet. Open the closet to unlock Chase McCain (Astronaut). With the Astronaut suit, you have a Ray Gun, which can stun enemies. Exit the room and go left. You will see an alcove with incomplete blue and white walls. Destroy a box to build a space box that the Astronaut suit can use. Remember the sequence and repeat it by pressing the action button (the order can be random). Once the sequence is repeated, some bricks will appear that you need to build the right wall in the niche. Build a white wall and use the blue color from your Robber suit's Color Gun to paint it blue. Then, climb the two walls to reach the roof of the Space Center. There, use a pole on the left to swing to the other side and use the Undercover suit on a grapple point on the left to reach the high ceiling with the destroyed Teleport Pad you saw earlier. Rebuild it, stand on it with the Astronaut suit and press the action button to teleport. At that moment, you will begin the sixth level: Astronaughty.
Special Assignment 6: Astronaughty[]
- Main article: Astronaughty
You start in the control room of the Space Center. You will hear a message from Ellie, telling you the best plan to get to the moon buggy. When you finish listening to it, go left and two guards will attack you. Fight them and arrest them. After defeating them, go further left and you will find a space box. Use the Astronaut suit on it to open it and reveal some bricks in the left corner. Use them to build a Teleport Pad and use it to teleport to the upper floor on the right. There, destroy a device and a telescope to build a shuttle. The shuttle will launch and crash into a space box, causing it to fall and destroy it. Rebuild it and use it to reveal some bricks in the upper left corner of the floor. Use them to build a color swapper and use it to change the color of your Robber suit's Color Gun from purple to green. Next, go down the stairs in the bottom left corner and use a control panel to open a door that will take you back to the bottom floor. Go back to where the first space box was and use the green color of your Color Gun to change the red color of a panel to green. This will open the door that will take you to the upper floor on the left. Go up the stairs to reach the upper left floor and you will have to push a battery into a socket. However, the chess floor is unfinished. Use the Undercover suit to make a painting fall and destroy it, revealing some bricks. Use them to repair the chess floor and push the battery into the socket to reveal a dynamite. Grab it with the Miner suit, go back to the lower floor and place the dynamite in a barrel next to a silver door at the end of the hallway ahead. Move away from the dynamite and it will explode, destroying the silver door and allowing you to enter an elevator. Enter the elevator and step on a button in the middle to reach the highest floor in the area. There, fight and arrest four guards. You will need to find three grapple points and place them on the generator in the upper right corner of the floor. To find the first one, destroy a white piece of furniture on the left to reveal a question mark scanner symbol. Use the Undercover suit on it to find some pieces in a drawer on the right side. Use them to build the first grapple point. Grab it, hop on the generator in the upper right corner, and place the grapple point on the first socket. To find the second grapple point, use the Robber suit to open one of the three red cabinets and reveal some pieces. The cabinets where you can find the pieces are the one on the left side, the one on the front wall and the one on the right side. The cabinet where you will find the pieces can be random. When you find the pieces, use them to build the second grapple point. Grab it, hop on the generator in the upper right corner, and place the grapple point on the second socket. You will find the third grapple point on the generator in the upper left corner. Use the Undercover suit to get it out of the generator. Grab it, hop on the generator in the upper right corner, and place the grapple point on the third socket. By placing the three grapple points on the generator in the upper right corner, a Teleport Pad will appear. Use the Astronaut suit on it to teleport to the high platform on the right. There, jump onto a moving platform and pull a yellow lever to reach the high platform on the left. On that platform, pull a green lever to make a moving hanging astronomical object spin rapidly until it falls and is destroyed, revealing a chain. Get off the platform and use the chain to go up a duct and reach the next area.
In the next area, you will be in the hangar. Use the control panel in the upper right corner to see a sequence on the floor arrays. Repeat that sequence to reveal a color swapper with the color silver in the upper left corner. Use it to change the color of your Robber suit's Color Gun from green to silver. Then, use the silver color of your Color Gun to change the color of an orange plate above, on the right. This will reflect the light beam and the beam will hit another orange antenna, down a staircase to the left. Additionally, two generators will appear on the upper floor that will generate beams of lights. Both lights have to power the two connectors on the side of the shuttle. Use the ladder to reach the upper floor and there, fight and arrest two guards. To power the first connector, use the silver color of your Color Gun to change the color of a large plate from yellow to silver. Next, destroy a large box to build a space box and use the space box with the Astronaut suit to reveal some pieces. Use them to build another yellow plate and use the silver color of your Robber suit's Color Gun to change it to silver. This will reflect the light beam back to the first connector, giving it power. To power the second connector, destroy a large box to the right of the rocket to build a color swapper with the color red. However, don't change the color just yet. Instead, destroy a brown box that stops the light beam on the right side. Next, destroy another brown box on the chess floor on the right, south side, to build a yellow plate. Use the silver color of your Color Gun to change it from yellow to silver and push it towards the yellow light floor on the left. You will need one more plate. Now yes, use the color swapper you built earlier to change the color of your Color Gun from silver to red. Use the red color of your Color Gun to change the green color of a panel to red. This will cause a crane to drop an object that will be destroyed, revealing pieces. Use them to build the yellow plate you have left. Then, use the color swapper from before again to change the color of your Color Gun from red to silver. Use the silver color of your Color Gun to change the yellow color of the plate you just built to silver. This will reflect the light beam back to the second connector, giving it power. By powering the two connectors, the shuttle and a crane will leave the moon buggy hanging. To lower it, you will need to use a control panel on the overhead walkway next to the shuttle. An elevator will go down in the lower right corner of the area, where two guards will come out and attack you. The elevator will also go up again. Fight against the guards and arrest them. After defeating them, use a control panel next to the elevator to lower it. Get on the elevator and wait for it to go up to the walkways above. Walk to the left of the first walkway and use a small blue walkway to reach a platform with a catapult. Use the catapult to reach the walkways on the right and continue forward until you see a safe inside a small room. Use the Robber suit to open the door to the small room and open the safe to reveal a key card. Grab the key card and use it on the terminal on the left to move a bridge. Cross the newly moved bridge to reach the walkway next to the shuttle, where you will have to use the control panel you saw earlier to make the crane release the moon buggy, causing it to fall and destroying it. Jump down and rebuild the moon buggy. Then, hop on it and use it to step on the big red button on the right, opening a nearby door. Go through the newly opened door with the moon buggy to finish the level.
LEGO City (Again)[]
Upon returning to LEGO City, you'll see a cutscene where Chase tries to call Chan to have two of his goons come get the moon buggy. Unfortunately, Chan tells Chase that they are late, and since Chase is stealing the moon buggy, he has to survive the safety of Apollo Island. When the cutscene ends, you'll have to stop Apollo Island Security from destroying your moon buggy while two Chan Goons take a minute to arrive. Your moon buggy has four hearts. If a vehicle of the island collides with your moon buggy, it will lose a heart. Losing all the hearts will cause you to lose and have to restart survival. The best thing to survive is not to fall into the water, go as fast as possible and avoid the vehicles you see in front, and repeat a loop. If you manage to survive for one minute, an announcer will tell everyone to return to base, which means you have survived. You will then see a cutscene of Chao Hui opening the fences of the Apollo Island dock. Take the moon buggy to the designated place to play another scene. In this scene, you will see that Chao Hui will put the moon buggy on a Ferry. Then, Chao Hui and Hai Chen will drop you off at Kings Court, while they take the moon buggy to Pagoda. When the scene ends, the chapter will be complete, beginning the eighth chapter: The Rescue.
