Negotiations is the first level in the Nintendo DS version of LEGO Star Wars: The Complete Saga. It is the first level of The Phantom Menace.

Turmoil has engulfed the

Galactic Republic! With a

blockade of deadly

battleships, the Trade

Federation has stopped all

shipping to the small planet

of Naboo.

The Supreme Chancellor has

secretly dispatched Jedi

Knights Qui-Gon Jinn and

Obi-Wan Kenobi to settle

the conflict....

Story

A Republic Cruiser lands in the Trade Federation Control Ship. Two Jedi, Obi-Wan Kenobi and Qui-Gon Jinn exit the ship and are greeted by TC-14. Meanwhile, the ship explodes and the Jedi feel it. They go on an MTT Cruiser to escape.

Walkthrough

You start in the conference room. Use the Force to knock down the door on the right and reach the next area.

In the next area, two Battle Droids will attack you. Defeat them and go to the end of the hallway until you pass another door on the right to reach the next area.

In the next area, defeat the Battle Droids and go to the end of the hallway to meet TC-14, who will join your team. Switch to her and use the protocol panel on the right to open the door that will take you to the next area.

In the next area, defeat two Battle Droids and go to the end of the hallway to find two Droidekas, both with a force field. Use a Jedi Slam to disable their force fields and defeat the Droidekas. Then, go to the door ahead to reach the next area.

In the next area, defeat two Battle Droids and you will see that the door ahead is closed. In the middle of the area, use Qui-Gon or Obi-Wan's Force to move two grates and turn them into a platform. Then, go through the ventilation shaft to reach the next area.

In the next area, drop down and a horde of Battle Droids will attack you. Defeat several Battle Droids until the door on the right opens. Go through that door to reach the next area.

In the next area, defeat several Battle Droids until no more appear, and then defeat two Droidekas to disable the barrier ahead. Use Qui-Gon or Obi-Wan's Force to build a protocol panel and use the panel as TC-14 to open the door that will take you to the final area of ​​the level.

In the final area, you will find an MTT Cruiser. First, defeat several Battle Droids until they stop appearing. Then, use Qui-Gon or Obi-Wan's Force on the part of the downed transport to recover the rear part. This will open the door to the MTT Cruiser. Finally, enter the MTT Cruiser to finish the level.

Collectables

S means that the collectible can be obtained both in Story and in Free Play. F means the collectible can only be obtained in Free Play.

• Minikit Canisters
  1. (S) In the second area, you'll see some pieces near a door in the hallway ahead. Use the pieces to build a protocol panel and then use a protocol droid on the panel to open the door. Go through the door to reach a special area. There, use a Jedi character to build two gears and raise a platform. Then, jump onto the platform and pull a lever to raise another platform to the left. Jump to that platform and use a double jump character to reach this minikit.
  2. (S) In the second area, use a Jedi character to pull four switches and reveal this minikit at the end of the area. The first two switches are on the left side, while the other two are on the right side.
  3. (S) In the third area, use a Jedi character to pull five switches and reveal this minikit at the end of the area. The first two switches are on the left side, while the other three are on the right side.
  4. (F) Find three grape blocks throughout the level to get this minikit:
     1. In the third area, destroy the second barrel closest to the front hallway to find this grape block.
     2. In the second special area of ​​the level, destroy the three barrels in the upper left corner to find this grape block.
     3. In the final area, destroy the barrel near the door ahead to find this grape block.
  5. (F) In the third area, destroy the barrel closest to the front door to build a bounty hunter panel. Use a bounty hunter on it to open the door to a special area. There, defeat two Battle Droids and destroy three barrels in the upper left corner to reveal intact pieces. Use a Jedi character on them to build a lever and pull it to reveal a box on the conveyor belt. Destroy it to build a hatch and enter it with a small character to reach the upper walkway. On that walkway, go left, build a button and step on it to disable the barrier on the right. Go back to the bottom floor, use a Jedi character to move two boxes, and use the boxes to reach the walkway with this minikit on the far right.
  6. (F) In the sixth area, you will see five red lights on the left side. Quickly power them all up with a Sith character to reveal this minikit next to a Battle Droid on the left ledge above. Jump there with a double jump character, defeat the Battle Droid, and then grab this minikit.
  7. (F) On the right side of the sixth area, you will see two barrels. Destroy them to build a lever and pull it to reveal a box on the conveyor belt nearby. Then, destroy the box to build a grapple point and use a Jedi character to turn the object on the right wall into a platform. Finally, use a character with blaster on the grapple point to reach the platform with this minikit.
  8. (F) On the left side of the sixth area, you will find three boxes. Use a Jedi character on them to build a stack of boxes. Use the stack to reach the platform above and then use an astromech droid on an astromech panel to open a door to a special area. There, destroy two barrels to reveal intact pieces. Use a Jedi character on them to build two buttons. Have both characters step on the buttons to raise a cylinder. Use a double jump character to jump towards the cylinder and then towards one of the capsules, either the one on the left or the one on the right. In one of them, step on a button to open the corresponding capsule. Do the same with the other capsule and the capsule with this minikit will open.
  9. (S) On the right side of the seventh area, use a Jedi character on some pieces on a speeder to build a platform. Then, use a Jedi character on two objects on the right wall to turn them into platforms and use the platforms with a double jump character to reach this minikit.
  10. (F) In the final area, destroy two barrels near the MTT Cruiser to build a grapple point and use a character with blaster on it to reach the platform above. Then, use a Jedi character to build a lever and pull it to activate a moving platform. Go to the right side of the area, use a Jedi character to turn two objects into platforms, and use an astromech droid on an astromech panel to activate another moving platform. Go back to the platform above, jump to the first moving platform, then jump to the intact platform and then to the next moving platform. There, when you are near the minikit, use a double jump character to reach it.

• Deflection Challenge Red Power Brick
  • (S) In the upper left corner of the seventh area, destroy three barrels to build a lever. Then, pull it to activate a moving platform. Use a Jedi character on four boxes to build a stack of boxes and use it to reach the moving platform. Then, when you are near the Red Power Brick, jump towards it to get it.

Unlockables

The minikit model in this level is a Republic Cruiser. After completing the level, you unlock TC-14. In Mos Eisley Cantina you can buy a Battle Droid, a Battle Droid (Security), a Battle Droid (Commander) and a Droideka. You will also be able to start Attack of the Clones, Revenge of the Sith, A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi or continue to Escape from Naboo. After collecting the Red Power Brick, you can purchase Deflection Challenge.
