Naboo Forest is the second level in the Game Boy Advance version of LEGO Star Wars: The Video Game. It is the second level of The Phantom Menace.
Story[]
When Obi-Wan Kenobi and Qui-Gon Jinn land on Naboo, they encounter a Gungan named Jar Jar Binks who takes them to the underwater city of Otoh Gunga, where the Gungan leader Boss Nass allows them to use the Gungan Bongo.
Walkthrough[]
Landing Zone[]
You start in Naboo Valley. Go to the lower right path destroying Battle Droids and STAPs. On top of a log, you will find a power-up that increases your damage. It is advisable to grab it to confront the enemies that you will find on the path at the top right. Go towards the arrow that points you to the next area.
Gungan Outskirts[]
In the next area, continue along the path and you'll see a cutscene where Jar Jar runs away from a STAP coming out of an MTT. Approach him and press the Select button to switch to him. With Jar Jar, you can throw Gungan Bombs and also, if you press R, Jar Jar will run like crazy, dealing damage to enemies. Not only that, Jar Jar can also jump as high as a Jedi to reach high platforms. On the high platform on the right, you'll find a Jawa, who can give you a Repair Droid in exchange for 25 studs. On the ledge to the left, step on a button to deactivate the barriers. Go to the MTT where the STAP that scared Jar Jar away came from and get on it to reach the ledge where you will find two turrets and two MTTs. The best way to destroy these turrets is to switch back to Qui-Gon, grab the power-up on the central log, and focus more on attacking the turrets. When you destroy these two turrets, step on two buttons to disable a barrier and go to the final area of the level.
Hidden Lake[]
In the final area of the level, switch to Jar Jar and jump as high as possible to reach the high ledge on the left. Switch to Qui-Gon, destroy the Battle Droids, and use the Force on three boxes to reveal antennas and disable a barrier. Follow the path of blue studs and go to the lower left path to find Lake Paonga. If you are low on health, you can switch to Qui-Gon and press R to make him invisible so enemies won't notice you. When you come across Lake Paonga, enter it to finish the level.
Collectables[]
S means that the collectible can be obtained both in Story and in Free Play. F means the collectible can only be obtained in Free Play.
To get all the collectibles in this level, you will need an astromech droid like R2-D2 or R4-P17. It is recommended to purchase R2-D2 as he costs 500 studs and can be purchased after finishing Tatooine.
- Death Star Plans
- (S) On the second wall of the first area, use a character with the Force on a worm's mouth to open it. Inside the worm, defeat two Battle Droids and you will find this Death Star Plan.
- (S) After disabling the force fields in the first area, go to the alcove between the first two platforms on the path to find this Death Star Plan.
- (S) At the end of the second area, go behind the MTT on the right to find this Death Star Plan.
- (F) At the beginning of the third area, at the bottom of the place with the three boxes, you will find a panel. Use the selected astromech droid to hack it and disable two barriers blocking a path. Go down the cliff and continue along the path to find this Death Star Plan. But be careful, there will be Battle Droids and green Super Battle Droids.
- (S) After passing the barrier that is deactivated by opening the three boxes, go to the top of the main path screen to find this Death Star Plan.
Unlockables[]
After completing the level, you will be able to purchase Jar Jar. After obtaining all the Death Star Plans, Yoda will tell you the following code: Start, Start, ↑, ↑, ↑, ↓, ↓, ↓. When you enter it in the pause menu, you can play with a Repair Droid. You can also continue with Naboo City.
