Minas Tirith is a location from LEGO The Lord of the Rings. The player appears at this location every time they enter the game after completing it.

  • King of the Dead*
    • After completing The Paths of the Dead level, west of the Minas Tirith fortress, go up a zigzag ramp towards Dunharrow, where you will find this character. He costs 500,000 studs and only appears during Night.
  • Soldier of the Dead*
    • After completing The Paths of the Dead level, northwest of Dunharrow, east of Edoras, you will find this character. Fight him to make him surrender and you can buy him. He costs 25,000 studs and only appears during Night.
  • Denethor*
    • After completing The Battle of Pelennor Fields level, south of the player's starting point above the fortress, you will find this character. He costs 125,000 studs.
  • Citadel Guard*
    • After completing The Battle of Pelennor Fields level, while climbing the handholds that will take you to the third Mithril Brick, you will encounter this character before reaching the furnace. He costs 25,000 studs.
  • Boromir (Captain)*
    • After completing the Mount Doom level, at the eastern end of the Minas Tirith fortress, you will find Osgiliath. To the west of the place, on the plains, you will find this character wandering around. He costs 200,000 studs and only appears during Day.

Collectables

• Mithril Bricks
  1. Next to Denethor, above the fortress of Minas Tirith, you will find a man. Talk to him to begin his quest. He will ask you for a Statue Hat, which you can get at the Osgiliath level. When you have the Statue Hat, give it to the man to complete the quest and he will give you this Mithril Brick as a reward.
  2. In the middle of the courtyard above the Minas Tirith fortress, hit a white tree to reveal many Silver Studs and this Mithril Brick.
  3. On the west side of the Minas Tirith fortress, use a gardener character to place a plant and grow a large yellow flower. Jump on its springboard-like leaves to reach some handholds and then climb up them. You will reach the top of the tower, where you will find a furnace. Light it on with any variant of Sam to play a cutscene. When the scene ends, you will get this Mithril Brick.
  4. Southeast outside the Minas Tirith fortress, you will find a male dwarf locked behind a door. Hit the bell to the right of the door to open it and free the dwarf. Talk to him to begin his quest. He will ask you for some Surefooted Greaves, which you can get in The Secret Stairs level. When you have the Surefooted Greaves, give them to the male dwarf to complete the quest and he will give you this Mithril Brick as a reward.
  5. To the west of the quest that gives you the previous Mithril Brick, you will find a field of moles. Complete a mole-smashing minigame within a time limit to reveal this Mithril Brick.
  6. Head as far southeast as you can along the coast until you see a small closed cave. Use a character with Elven Rope to pull a yellow hook and open the small cave, and then grab a crank from inside. Then connect the crank to a mechanism on the right and turn it to open another small cave. Then, go in there with a character who can light up to grab a key. Take the key to the edge of the terrain and use it to unlock a target. Shoot it with an archer character to lower a pillar, climb up some handholds to reach a high ledge, and hit a tomb to open it and reveal this Mithril Brick.
  7. Southeast of the Minas Tirith fortress, you will find a horse-drawn carriage. Hop on it and complete a race passing through checkpoints to obtain this Mithril Brick.
  8. North of the Minas Tirith fortress, you will find a wooden platform near a river. Stand on it and hit seven cardboard orcs holding targets with an archer character to get this Mithril Brick.
  9. At the northeastern edge of the Minas Tirith fortress, you will see an encampment of three Mordor Orcs. Defeat the three Orcs to obtain this Mithril Brick. This Mithril Brick can only be obtained during Night.
  10. From the place where you buy the King of the Dead, go up the gray pillars on the left. Then, use an archer character to shoot arrows into five holes and swing on them with a character with agility to reach the platform with this Mithril Brick. The Mithril Brick is very high, so use a high-jumper character to reach it.

    • Atop the fortress of Minas Tirith, use an archer character to shoot seven targets around the fortress and reveal this Blacksmith Design. Use a high-jumper character to reach the handholds on the south side of the fortress and climb them to reach this Blacksmith Design.
