Lovegood's Lunacy is the seventeenth level from LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7. It is the fifth level of Deathly Hallows Pt1.
Story[]
Harry, Ron and Hermione visit Xenophilius Lovegood and discover that the symbol represents the Deathly Hallows. Many years earlier, in 1292, three brothers each received a prize for evading Death: the Resurrection Stone, the Cloak of Invisibility, and the Elder Wand, the most powerful wand known. Possessing all three makes one the Master of Death. Xenophilius secretly summons the Death Eaters, hoping to trade Harry for a kidnapped Luna. Campsite[]
After completing the previous level, you will appear in Campsite. Switch to Hermione and use her bag on a pink pad to take out a woodpecker. It will cut down a tree so that pieces appear. Use them to build a teleporter and use it to start this level.
Level Walkthrough[]
Exterior of the Lovegood House[]
You start outside the Lovegood House. You must complete some tasks to enter. Approach the vines and scare them away using the Lumos Solem spell. Switch to Hermione and summon Crookshanks. Dig a pink pad into the ground and take a large ice cream out of Hermione's bag. A wasp will fly towards it and you can collect the balloon with Wingardium Leviosa. Then let it go. Then go up to the sprinkler on the right and use Aguamenti to fill it with water. Another plant will grow with a balloon. Release the second balloon with Wingardium Leviosa. This will destroy another kite. At the end, release the last balloon with the same spell, which is closest to the house door on the right. Once you have shot down all the kites, you will have enough bricks to build a knocker that you can install on the door. Use Wingardium Leviosa several times until a cutscene plays that will take you to the next area.
Lovegood House (First Floor)[]
In the next area, cast a spell on the hanging cabinet located in the middle of the left wall. Many bricks will fall. So, use them to make a hanger and attach it to the hook. Use Wingardium Leviosa to pull one of them and go up the stairs. When you go up the stairs, you will go to the next area.
The Tales of Beedle the Bard[]
In the next area, you take control of the first brother, who has the Elder Wand, which can destroy golden objects. You have to destroy a golden block and move forward. Approach a tree, jump to a branch, and knock down two pears with Wingardium Leviosa. Build a mushroom with the bricks. Then use it to jump to the ledge and continue. Switch to the second brother and use the Resurrection Stone to control the souls of the dead. Take control of the woman's soul and move her to the right to pull the lever. The bridge will rise. Change to the first brother and destroy the golden roots - this will allow you to jump. You will meet Death who wants to kill the brothers - switch to the third brother and use the Invisibility Cloak. Go behind a tree and chop it down using a large axe with Wingardium Leviosa. Death will flee so the other two brothers can continue. On a hill you will find some logs blocked by gold items. Destroy it with the first brother's Elder Wand, but be careful with the logs (they can crush you). Then you will encounter a whirlpool - switch to the second brother and take control of a soul. Go a little to the right and turn off the whirlpool by pulling a lever. When it stops spinning, you can move further. Another confrontation with Death will occur - switch to the third brother and put on the Invisibility Cloak. Move behind the death and use Wingardium Leviosa to throw three pumpkins at him. Death will flee and you can continue your journey. Switch to the first brother and destroy the golden anchor. Use the second brother to jump onto the boat and take control of another soul - reach a lever and pull it. Jump on the wooden boxes to cross the water. You will meet Death again on a bridge. Stay away from him, wait for him to leave, use Wingardium Leviosa to fix the bridge, and quickly get over it before Death returns. Destroy the golden box using the first brother's Elder Wand and build a bell. Hang it in the right place. Use the second brother's Resurrection Stone to take control of a woman's soul and use an elevator to reach the top floor of the tower - ring the bell by pulling a lever. The door will open. Keep going. Death will jump from the golden tiles. Once again, use the third brother's Invisibility Cloak and move behind Death. Direct a ray of light towards Death that will drive him away. Switch to the first brother, destroy the golden boxes blocking the way. Use Wingardium Leviosa to grab some bricks from the pit and build a weight that can be used to unlock the entrance to the dungeon. In the dungeon, you must destroy all the golden objects and build stairs - the story of three brothers will end and you will go to the next area.
Lovegood House (Second Floor)[]
In the next area, you must find a way to get to the upper floor. To get the first ingredient, you will need Spectrespecs. Then, use Reducto to open the cabinet secured with a silver padlock. Build a snake head. Take a tusk and throw it into the cauldron. Switch to Hermione, approach the bookshelf and solve the puzzle. Place the newspapers in the tube on the right. The newspapers will bring out another ingredient that can be thrown into the cauldron. Approach the red wall and select the Diffindo spell. You will get some bricks. Now you have to build a duster. Then, use it to clean the windows of cobwebs - you will find the last ingredient of the potion of strength. Drink the potion and approach the orange handle. After destroying the wall, switch to Hermione and summon Crookshanks to move through the blue tube. As a result, you will get a handle. Place it on the left side of the stairs and use Wingardium Leviosa on it to go down the stairs. Go up the stairs to go to the final area of the level.
Lovegood House (Third Floor)[]
In the final area of the level, search the bed and you will find a green crank that you need to use on the locked chest. Use the green key on the locked chest to open it and Xenophilius (disguised as Luna) will emerge from it, ending the level.

- (S) This crest is obtained by putting five carrots in the basket with Wingardium Leviosa - carrots are obtained from the ground in front of the entrance to the house. Note: You can build a fan after removing the carrots, but this is optional.
- Slytherin
- (S) This crest is obtained by chasing away five crows perched on the fence surrounding the Lovegood House:
- The first one is posing on the house's marquee.
- The second one is posing to the left of the Weasley wall.
- The third one is posing to the left of the vines.
- The fourth one is posing to the left of the sprinkler.
- The fifth one is posing on the upper fence of the crops.
- (S) This crest is obtained by chasing away five crows perched on the fence surrounding the Lovegood House:
- Hufflepuff
- (F) On the ground floor, to the right of the fireplace, there is a damaged object. Change to Arthur Weasley and fix it. Then use it to clear five spots around the ladder and receive this crest.
- Ravenclaw
- (S) In Luna's bedroom, located on the upper floor, you will find a fireplace. There is an unlit lamp next to it - use Ron's Deluminator to grab the light on the second floor and raise it. After that, you will get this crest.
- Gryffindor
- Student in Peril
- (S) Reach the end of the path that leads to the Lovegood House. There you will find a student - use Lumos Solem to free him from the Devil's Snare.
- Tokens
- Xenophilius (Luna)
- (F) When you are in the garden, dig up the chest and open it with a Dark Magic character. Next, get rid of the vines on the left, use a Weasley to put on the Sticky Trainers from an orange box, and destroy the plants on a Weasley wall. Climb the Weasley wall, destroy a black lock with a Dark Magic character, and don the Spectrespecs. Build a rabbit with the invisible bricks to reveal this character token.
- Skeleton
- (F) There is a black chest on the first floor - open it with a Dark Magic character. Inside you will find a paint bucket. So, use it to paint a circle on the wall and receive this character token.
- Luna (Purple Coat)
- (S) Find a pile of trash next to the fireplace on the first floor - use magic on it several times. This creates drums - destroy them to obtain this character token.
- Xenophilius (Luna)
