Love Hurts is the tenth level of LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7. It is the fourth level of Half-Blood Prince.
Story[]
At Hogwarts, Dumbledore asks Harry to recover Slughorn's memory of a young Lord Voldemort. Slughorn has resisted giving a precise recollection. After Ron accidentally ingests a love potion intended for Harry, Harry takes him to Slughorn to be cured. Slughorn offers the children some mead that he had intended as a gift for Dumbledore. Ron is poisoned by drinking it. Harry's quick thinking saves Ron. While recovering, Ron murmurs Hermione's name, causing Lavender to end their relationship. Harry confronts Draco Malfoy about the poisoned mead and also about a cursed necklace that almost killed Katie Bell. A duel breaks out and Harry uses one of the Half-Blood Prince's curses without knowing which one it is. The curse severs Malfoy's legs, and he is only saved by the timely arrival of Snape and the reversal of the curse. Fearing that the book contains Dark Magic, Ginny convinces Harry to hide it in the Room of Requirement. They then share their first kiss.

After finishing the previous level, you will appear in the Entrance Hall. As usual, follow Nearly Headless Nick to the classroom.

Follow Nearly Headless Nick up the Grand Staircase.
The Grand Staircase[]
When there are no more steps, use Wingardium Leviosa to pull two handles and continue following Nick. Go to Dumbledore's Office and a cutscene will play. When it ends, go down and follow Nearly Headless Nick until you reach Slughorn's Office to start this level.
Level Walkthrough[]
Slughorn's Office[]
You start in Slughorn's Office. Ron has drunk a love potion and you have to go to Professor Slughorn to get the antidote. This is your first task. Gather three ingredients to prepare the proper cure for Ron. The first ingredient of the antidote is in the painting. To achieve this, you have to play the melody on the piano. The first part of the notes is on the table behind the second couch. The second part of the notes is in a jar on the same table. Use Aguamenti to pour water into it and bring the notes to the instrument. Play the melodies and in return you will get the first ingredient. You can take it to the cauldron. Approach the fireplace and turn two valves using the Wingardium Leviosa spell. The second ingredient will fly out of the chimney. The last ingredient can be found on the table next to the sofa. Use Wingardium Leviosa to collect the ingredients and throw them into the cauldron. Then drink the potion and a cutscene will play. When the scene ends, Ron will be poisoned. You must get to the ingredients cabinet to find a serum and help Ron. Build a gargoyle and use Wingardium Leviosa to place it on top of the chimney. This will reveal a chandelier. Use the Reducto spell to destroy the chandelier - this way you can get the key to the cabinet. Use Wingardium Leviosa to take the key and open the cabinet, then search all the drawers until you find the cure for Ron. This will take you to the next area.
The Boys' Toilets[]
In the next area, follow the main poisoning suspect - Draco Malfoy. You will have to duel him in the bathroom. Note that the color of Draco's side will change color when you hit him. If it is pink, use Wingardium Leviosa; If it is red, use Diffindo; If it is blue, use Aguamenti; If it is yellow, use Focus; If it is orange, use Reducto. If he casts a spell on you, press the action button to create a shield that will protect you from the attack by deflecting it. Cast the same spell that he casts his and press the button that appears on the screen (either the jump button or the attack button) repeatedly without stopping so that yours hits Draco and damages him. Do this four times and Draco will run away to a toilet. Go to the end of the bathroom where you can find the pump. Approach it and Harry or Ron (depending on who you're playing as) will move the valve with their Wingardium Leviosa spell. Next, you will need to fill the tanks with water using the Aguamenti spell. When the tanks are full, switch to Ron and summon his owl - use it to climb the pipe and move one of the gutters. The second one can be moved by using the Wingardium Leviosa spell. Another tank will be filled - build a bomb with the bricks obtained. Take the explosive charge to the first cabin on the right side and place it inside the toilet. Then use Wingardium Leviosa to rinse the water and wait for the effect. After that, you will have another duel with Draco. Repeat the same action you did with the previous duel and you will move to the final area of the level.
Room of Requirement[]
In the final area of the level, you will enter one of the Hogwarts chambers with Ginny. A potion of strength is required to advance further. You can find the first ingredient in the cabinet. Destroy the silver lock using the Reducto spell. Pour the ingredient into the cauldron. Approach the red wall and cast the Diffindo spell. Build a ladder to climb and pick a flower. Fill the green container with water by casting the Aguamenti spell, then switch to Ginny and select her pet, with which you can go through the pipes and expel the last ingredient of the elixir. After brewing the potion, drink it and pull the orange handle. Go further, but another barrier will block your path. Use Reducto to destroy the shiny silver bricks, then build a chandelier and use it to knock over a Weasley box. Switch to Ginny and take a green box out of the orange box. So, use Wingardium Leviosa to distribute the contents of the box into a collapsed column. Continue and you will find another Weasley box - use Ginny to take out the fireworks and launch them immediately with Wingardium Leviosa. Build a huge gramophone with the bricks that will fall from the ceiling. It will allow you to clear the way. Now you just have to open a curtain. Use Diffindo on a red wall and build an anvil that must be hung on a pink hook. On the other side, use Aguamenti to fill the container with water, which will cause the curtains to open. When the curtain opens, the level will end.

- The first one is near the chandelier you use to knock down a Weasley box. Use Arthur Weasley to repair it.
- The second one is near the black harp of the Slytherin Crest. Use Wingardium Leviosa to build it.
- The third one is near the curtain at the end of the level. Use Wingardium Leviosa to clean the glass.
- In the final area of the level, restore three cabinets to get this crest.

- In the final area of the level, use a Dark Magic character to play a black harp and get this crest.

- After destroying a sink with a super strength character, jump into the gushing water. Get the crest located at the top.

- In the first area, find the safe under the picture and open it with a character with key. You will get this crest.
- Gryffindor
- Student in Peril
- Go behind the cabins, use Dark Magic to move the cart away from the hallway, and go to the end to find this student.
- Tokens
- Professor Slughorn
- In the first area, use a character with super strength to open a chest next to the piano and then use Wingardium Leviosa to build a skeleton. It will play the piano melody and give you this character token.
- Ginny Weasley
- Use Aguamenti to extinguish the chimney on the left, then use a digging character to find this character token.
- Draco (Suit)
- In the same place where you rescued the student in peril, switch to Ron and use his Deluminator to grab the light. Take it to the sinks and you will get this character token.
- Professor Slughorn
