Lava Lake is the ninth treasure level of the original adventures portion from LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues. It is the fourth treasure level of Temple of Doom.
Walkthrough[]
The most recommended characters for this level are Thuggee Acolyte and Village Elder, as they have skills needed to complete this level. The level takes place in the already destroyed Thuggee Ceremonial Chamber. The goal of the level is to get 5 boxes of LEGO bricks to 5 green pads to build a raft. You'll find the first box near the large junk pile just to the right of the entrance, while the rest of the boxes are on one of the two sides. On the left side, use the Thuggee Acolyte to throw spears into 2 sockets on the back wall. Use the spears to climb up to the ledge above and to the right, then jump across the jagged gray platforms to the solid ledge with the second box of bricks. Grab the box, jump down and place it on one of the green pads. Further left, use a ladder to climb onto a ledge. Go across the wooden bridge to the back left corner and use the Village Elder to solve the glyph puzzle there. Once you finish solving the puzzle, the door will open, revealing the third box of bricks. Grab the box and take it to one of the green pads. On the right side, have the Thuggee Acolyte ride the elevator up to the ledge in the middle right. Follow the ledge to the right and jump onto the blue and silver platform. When the Thuggee Acolyte is on the aforementioned platform, switch to the Village Elder and have him turn the key to move the platform to the right. Go back to the Thuggee Acolyte and push a box off the ledge to destroy it. You can use the pieces of the box to build a ladder if you accidentally fall off the ledge. Use the Thuggee Acolyte to throw a spear into the socket in the right wall. Jump up to grab the spear, and then jump from there to the next ledge, where you'll find the fourth box of bricks. Grab the box and take it to one of the green pads. Go to the back right corner of the room and destroy a wall of LEGO bricks to reveal the fifth and final box of bricks. Grab the box and take it to the last green pad. Once all 5 boxes are attached, use the 5 stacks of LEGO pieces to build a raft, which will slide down the ramp into the lava pool. Get on the raft and row to the island with the Artifact to grab it and finish the level.
