Lady Liberty Island is a location from LEGO City Undercover.
How to unlock[]
You will not be able to access this island until you unlock Rex Fury in the Fly Me to the Moon level. If you try to access it with a sea or air vehicle, the game will force you to go back and a message will appear saying that the island is closed for the moment. To unlock it, you will have to go to the Promenade Gardens, which is located on the south side of Downtown. There, you will find a large box with an orange handle in the center. Use Rex Fury (you can also do it with his Bare Chest variant) to destroy it and build an object that can change depending on the version you play. If you're on Wii U or Nintendo Switch, you'll build a Warp Pipe from the Mario Bros. series. Get on it and press the action button to teleport to Lady Liberty Island. If you're on PS4, Xbox One, or PC, you'll build a Teleport Pad instead, which has the same functions as a Warp Pipe, only the only difference is that it will require the use of an Astronaut character. After teleporting to Lady Liberty Island, you will unlock it, allowing you to access it with a sea or air vehicle.
Collectables[]
- Gold Bricks
- At the southern end of the island, you will find a motorcycle. Hop on it to start a Time Trial. In the Time Trial, go through checkpoints in 10 seconds until you reach the north side of the information building to win the race. Time is delayed by five seconds for each checkpoint passed. Winning the race will give you this Gold Brick.
- On the southeast lawn, you will find a lit barbecue. Use a Fireman character to put out the barbecue fire and complete one of the seventeen Extinguish Fires BBQ challenges, earning this Gold Brick.
- To the right of the south stairs leading to the bottom of the statue, you will find a light gray rock surrounded by flowers. Use a Miner character to destroy it and complete one of the twenty-two Destroy Boulders challenges, obtaining this Gold Brick.
- To the left of the south stairs leading to the bottom of the statue, you will find a lost pig. Get on it and follow the path of ghost studs until you take it to a pig cannon on the northeast lawn, where you'll put it inside. Finally, use a Farmer character to load the cannon and shoot the pig towards the Fort Meadows farm, completing one of the twenty-two Return Pigs challenges and earning this Gold Brick.
- On the northeast lawn, you will find a space box. Use an Astronaut character to open it and reveal a Space Alien. Chase it and when you see the action button flashing above it, quickly press it to catch it. After this, you will complete one of the seventeen Aliens Catching challenges, earning this Gold Brick.
- At the bottom of the northwest flagpole, you will find an electrical box. Use a Construction character to repair it and step on a button, beginning one of the seventeen Drill Thrill challenges. In it, you have to drill thirty-five ventilation floors in 1:20. Start first with those on the west side, then with those on the central side, and finally with those on the east side. After drilling all thirty-five ventilation floors in time, you will win the challenge, obtaining this Gold Brick.
- To the left of the west stairs leading to the bottom of the statue, you will find a silver statue of Rex Fury. If you have the Unlimited Dynamite extra activated, you can use a Miner character to place a dynamite in a barrel without having to search for one. After placing the dynamite, move away from it and it will explode, destroying the silver statue, completing one of the seventeen Destroy Silver Statues challenges and earning this Gold Brick.
- On the path west of the statue, you will find a green flower pot. Use a Farmer character on it to water flowers and complete one of the twenty Flower Watering challenges, also obtaining this Gold Brick.
- Next to the southwest information building, you will find a blue box with a police logo. Destroy it to build a Disguise Booth and get this Gold Brick.

- On the northwest side of the island, use an Astronaut character to reach the flagpole and climb it. Then, use a zip line to reach the west walkway of the statue and walk to the right across three white edges until you reach the north walkway. There, climb a ladder to reach the feet of the statue, where you will find a position. Place an Astronaut flag there to complete one of the twenty Conquer Districts challenges and obtain this Gold Brick.
- After using the zip line to reach the Red Brick/second vehicle token, you will reach the roof of the southwest dock building. Walk ahead of a blue walkway to find a free run token. Grab it to unlock a Free Run at the place where you started climbing. Go back to where you started climbing and head to the designated spot to start the Free Run. In the Free Run, take the same route you did until you reach the place where you grabbed the free run token to win the race. You have 30 seconds to win it, but there are three clocks along the way that you can grab to set the time back 15, 13, or 5 seconds. Winning the race will give you this Gold Brick.
- On the roof where you found the free run token, you will find a cat stuck on a pole. Use a Fireman character to rescue it and complete one of the seventeen Rescue Cats challenges, obtaining this Gold Brick.
- On the dock located in the southwest corner of the island, you will find a Super Build over the water. If you have more than 15,000 bricks, use them to build a Ferry and get this Gold Brick. After building this Ferry, you will be able to access Crescent Park.

Trivia[]
- As the name suggests, this statue is based on the real-life Liberty Island.
- In the Wii U and Nintendo Switch versions, the pipe used to access Lady Liberty Island is a Warp Pipe from the Mario Bros. series. In the other versions, the Warp Pipe was replaced by a Teleport Pad to avoid copyrights with Nintendo.
- While this location is absent in LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins, it makes a cameo in one scene.
- This also makes it the only LEGO City island that does not appear in LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins.
