LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens LEGO Worlds The LEGO Ninjago Movie Videogame

LEGO Worlds is a LEGO-themed sandbox game developed by Traveller's Tales and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. The game allows players to build constructions in a 3D procedurally generated world. A beta version of the game was released on 1 June 2015 on Steam Early Access.

Gameplay[]

When Lego Worlds was first announced in 2015, some labelled it "Minecraft with LEGO". For starters, there's the goal – the player's aim is to become a master builder in order to unlock the bigger worlds and build larger constructions. To do this, they'll need to collect 100 golden bricks by completing tasks and opening chests. Tools are a huge part of the gameplay in which the player will need to use them to edit and discover new things around the worlds to complete quests, or to build whatever they want. There is also a sandbox mode in the game where they have access to all of the items in the game by default. In the inventory the player can find items which they can give to characters to give them abilities.

List of Tools[]

  • Discovery Tool - Can discover new objects and place them anywhere.
  • Landscape Tool - Can edit the land around you.
  • Paint Tool - Can change the color or terrain of bricks.
  • Copy Tool - Can copy brick builds.
  • Build Tool - Can be used to build things one brick at a time.

Worlds[]

World is the term for generated levels in LEGO Worlds. They can be explored freely like open worlds in other LEGO games.

World Statistics[]

  • Tutorial worlds are 400 square units (20x20).
  • Small worlds are 2,500 square units (50x50).
  • Medium worlds are 10,000 square units (100x100).
  • Large worlds are 22,500 square units (150x150).
  • Huge worlds are 40,000 square units (200x200).

Characters[]

Characters in LEGO Worlds act very similar to characters in other LEGO games, however the different abilities are omitted and in exchange are replaced with different items and weapons. The only character abilities in the game are the Dive ability, which characters like Skeleton have, the flight ability, which Vampire has, the hyperjump ability, which Werewolf has, and the ability to scare, which characters like Zombie and Ghost have.
