LEGO Rock Band is a rhythm game in the style of the Rock Band series, made easier for the younger audience of LEGO fans. Iggy Pop plays himself as the player guide and offers in game tutorials as well as LEGO versions of David Bowie, Queen, Blur and Spinal Tap appearing as unlockable band members.
Gameplay[]
The main mode of the game is the career Story mode, where the player rises up to the top of rock and roll with their band. The player starts off with the default band members from Rock Band 2 but can unlock new members via the game's Rock Shop after finishing the tutorial.
The game requires a Rock Band or Guitar Hero controller in order to play the instruments in the console versions, in the DS port, the game is played entirely via the touch screen, tapping the notes as they pass along the screen.
