LEGO Alpha Team (GBC)

Due to the limitations of the Game Boy Color, a new version of LEGO Racers was created, which does not include a story mode. This version was negatively criticized.

Circuits

There are a total of seven circuits to complete, the first six consisting of four racetracks while the seventh is a race against Rocket Racer himself. The latter three of the six circuits feature mirrored versions of the previous tracks.

Winning first place in each circuit will reward the player with the champion's car parts.

Differences from the home console version

• The car creation mode is limited to compensate for the less powerful hardware.
• Time races and multiplayer races have been removed.
• The powerup bricks don't stack.
• The circuit tracks have been mixed up.
• The player doesn't unlock the character's cars when beating each circuit, although they can still unlock the circuit boss.
