LEGO Legends of Chima Online LEGO Marvel Super Heroes The LEGO Movie Videogame

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes is a 2013 action-adventure videogame developed by Traveller's Tales and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. It is the first game in the LEGO Marvel video game series.

History[]

LEGO Marvel Super Heroes was first shown at E3 2013, and released in October 2013. In March 2019, it was included in the LEGO Marvel Collection along with LEGO Marvel's Avengers and LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2. It was later rereleased onto Nintendo Switch on 5 October 2021.

Plot[]

Up in the sky, Iron Man is sent to chase after the Silver Surfer by Nick Fury. A Doom Jet fires at the Silver Surfer, shattering his surfboard into a bunch of cosmic bricks.

When Sandman and Abomination held Grand Central Station hostage for a couple of cosmic bricks, (the Silver Surfer's broken up surfboard) Iron Man and Hulk arrived to stop them, but they were attacked by Abomination. Hulk managed to throw Abomination through a window, while Sandman used his powers in an attempt to block the heroes. He eventually transformed into a sand giant that caught Iron Man and Hulk in a sandstorm. Spider-Man saved them, however, and the three superheroes were able to solidify Sandman with water. S.H.I.E.L.D. then arrived and arrested Sandman and the Abomination. Iron Man asked Nick Fury about what is going on, but Nick wasn't so sure.

Nick Fury sends Captain America with Mister Fantastic to construct research on a Cosmic Brick at the Baxter Building. Upon Arrival, Doctor Octopus is caught trying to steal the aforementioned cosmic brick. After a brief fight, Doctor Octopus escapes via Rooftops, so Captain America and Mister Fantastic chase after him. Meanwhile at the Daily Bugle, Peter Parker is helping J. Jonah Jameson upload pictures onto the Daily Bugle Website. They are interrupted by Doctor Octopus who is passing through followed by Captain America and Mister Fantastic. Peter Parker changes to Spider-Man and joins them. They keep chasing Doctor Octopus until they reach Times Square, where they fight him and eventually he gets knocked over. Green Goblin swoops in and steals the Cosmic Brick, and heads towards Oscorp. Black Widow, Hawkeye are called in to chase after him followed by Spider-Man, and Mister Fantastic goes back to the Baxter Building to help cleanup.

Upon Arrival at Oscorp, Hawkeye, Black Widow, and Spider-Man end up stumbling upon Oscorp's underground labs where they have to take on Venom. After doing so, they chase after the Green Goblin but he escapes in the Pumpkin Chopper.

When there's a breakout at The Raft, Iron Man and Hulk are sent to track down Sabretooth, Magneto, and Mystique, where they meet Wolverine. Several villains, such as Red Skull and Carnage, are freed from their cells and escape. Magneto breaks Iron Man's suit, leaving him in his underwear. Iron Man goes to Stark Tower with Captain America in order to get a new suit, and Wolverine leaves to track down Loki.

However, when Tony Stark and Captain America go to replace the Mark 6, Stark Tower was hacked by Loki with the assistance of Aldrich Killian and Mandarin to steal the power core, he had to use the Mark 1. While primitive, the Mark 1 got the job done and there was no computer in it to hack. He finally regained control of the system and ditched the Mark 1 for the Iron Man (Mark 42). Killian and Mandarin run out to the landing pad, followed by Tony and Cap. Killian is defeated, while Mandarin steals the Hulkbuster Armour . Iron Man activates house party protocol, which calls in all of his suits to take down Mandarin.

Black Widow and Hawkeye are sent to investigate a Hydra base that is located under the Empire State Building, where Red Skull and Arnim Zola have been conspiring with Loki. They trip an alarm which activates a large golden wall preventing them from getting in. Human Torch arrives and melts the wall and joins them on their mission. Black Widow and Hawkeye are knocked out by Loki, so Captain America joins up and helps defeat Red Skull. Cap knocks Red Skull over, and Wolverine comes in and makes him trip onto the side of the portal, ruining it. Now with no way to get to Loki, they go get help from Thor. Black Widow and Hawkeye are taken away for medical assistance.

Thor brings the heroes to Asgard so they can face Loki. Upon arrival, they are greeted by a bunch of Frost Giants. Once they get to Loki, he awakens The Destroyer. Captain America deflects the Destroyer's Lava beam towards itself defeating it, and Loki escapes leaving behind the Tesseract.

Wolverine steals the Tesseract when the other heroes aren't looking and brings it to Professor X at the X-Mansion. It attracts attention, and the mansion is attacked by Magneto. Jean Grey and Cyclops rescue the students, and later Storm, Iceman and Beast join them. They are interrupted by Toad and Pyro before getting to where Professor X is, who turns out to actually not be the real Professor X and actually Mystique in disguise. Her and Magneto leave with the Tesseract, leaving them with Juggernaut whom they battle against and eventually defeat.

The Fantastic Four go to Latveria to stop Doctor Doom. Nick Fury tags along with them, and they go to Doom's Castle to find Doctor Doom. Fury and the Human Torch go to secure the landing zone, and the rest of the Fantastic Four, (Mister Fantastic, The Thing and Invisible Woman) skydive down to the castle. The two teams meet up, and they encounter Green Goblin, who knocks out Human Torch. They battle him, however, they managed to defeat him. They confront Doom, but he and Loki escape, so the Fantastic Four head back to the Baxter Building.

Iron Man and Thor fly out to the ocean to find the research submarine Nick Fury tasked them to find Doctor Doom with. However, Doctor Doom's Submarine captures the research sub, and attacks the heroes. Spider-Man arrives to help them, and they go into the submarine. They encounter M.O.D.O.K. and defeat him. The submarine starts sinking, luckily, Jean Grey arrives and creates a telekinesis bubble to save the heroes. They catch up to Doom, but Magneto shows up controlling the Statue Of Liberty. He throws them and they crash on Liberty Island, so he and Doom escape.

Magneto uses the Statue of Liberty to expose the Nuclear Core of the Roxxon Power Plant. Mr. Fantastic, Wolverine and the Hulk try to stop him, but they fail. The heroes battle Mastermind and briefly fall under his control. Magneto beheads the Statue Of Liberty and heads for Asteroid M taking the nuclear core with him.

Captain America and The Thing are sent to pursue Magneto on Asteroid M. They skydive out of the ship Black Widow used to transport them, and they travel on foot to where Magneto is. Meanwhile, Magneto drops the nuclear core into Asteroid M, which now enables it to fly. Now deemed useless, Magneto abandons the Statue Of Liberty. Captain America and Thing get surrounded by velociraptors, and Storm shows up to help them. They fight Rhino and Magneto, who turns out to actually be Mystique. The real Magneto shows up and makes Asteroid M rise using the nuclear core, and hitches a ride. Captain America, Thing and Storm secretly sneak in.

Iron Man, Thor and Spider-Man travel to Asteroid M using the Starkjet. There, Doctor Doom, Loki, and Magneto were planning to unleash the Doom Ray of Doom. They encountered Magneto, and they fought. He was then defeated, and knocked all the way to the Baxter Building. The heroes then go to pursue Doctor Doom and Loki.

When they go to confront Doctor Doom and Loki, Iron Man and Thor are knocked out. Luckily, Captain America, The Thing, and Storm arrive to help Spider-Man defeat them. Loki goes to finish the Doom Ray of Doom, and Doctor Doom stays to fend off the heroes. They are able to defeat Doctor Doom. Iron Man and Thor catch up to help stop Loki, who reveals his true plan, using the Doom Ray of Doom powered by the Tesseract to take control of Galactus, and making him devour Earth and Asgard.

With no other choices, Nick Fury calls upon the villains to help the heroes defeat Galactus. Iron Man and Thor go to recruit Magneto, Abomination and Doctor Doom. They battle Galactus on the S.H.I.E.L.D. Helicarrier, which is on the brink of crashing. He is sucked into a portal with Loki, and the tesseract falls out of his hands. The villains flee the Helicarrier as part of their agreement with the heroes. The Fantastic Four help Silver Surfer rebuild his cosmic surfboard, and he flies into space choosing a new path for Galactus.
