LEGO Indiana Jones 2: The Adventure Continues is a game for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, Xbox 360, Wii, Nintendo DS, and PC consoles. It is the sequel to 2008's LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures. The game is based on the first four Indiana Jones films, developed by Traveller's Tales and published by LucasArts and TT Games, released in November 2009 and has both single-player and co-op.

- It was the first LEGO game where the player can have more than 4 billion studs which was the maximum stud total in the previous LEGO games, except for the first LEGO Star Wars game where the maximum stud count is 9,999,999.
- This is the only LEGO game from TT on console/PC to have more than five stud multipliers with six.
- The game introduced the ability to brake and reverse while using vehicles.
- This was the first LEGO video game to feature a split screen for co-op.
- Free Play character cycling was supposed in the game, but it was cut. The only other game to not have it is LEGO Dimensions.
- It was the last LEGO game to have the Adaptive Difficulty extra. In later games, you usually only lose 2000 or 1000 studs.
- This is the only LEGO game to have the extras of Fearless, Snake Whip and Score x3.
- This is the only LEGO game on home consoles with an odd-numbered stud multiplier which was also featured in the handheld game LEGO Ninjago: Shadow of Ronin with Studs x5.
- This is the first LEGO game where a character won't be interrupted when performing an action where you can't move them such as building or digging up an object.
- It was the first LEGO video game where the player can aim projectiles of any kind. Beforehand, the player could only do so with batarangs in LEGO Batman: The Videogame.
- This was the first LEGO game from TT on home consoles to allow the player to have more than two custom characters.
- This is the first Lego game from TT to date to lack Free Play for levels, the others being LEGO City Undercover & LEGO Dimensions where you just revisit the levels with different characters and levels to earn all the collectibles.
