Just Let Me Get My Wrench Out is the eighteenth mission of LEGO City Undercover: The Chase Begins. It is the first mission to take place in Auburn.

Meeting Natalia[]
- Chase McCain: Whoa... [He begins to fall in love with Natalia] Er... Hey! I saw you on the TV! It's Natalia, right? I'm Officer Chase McCain.
- Natalia Kowalski: Hello, Chase. It's nice to see the police so quick to respond.
- Chase McCain: We're busy trying to round up the escaped criminals.

- Worker Foreman: Smokey Fuentes, a local thug! He's taken over the construction site. He's also helped himself to most of our equipment.
- Chase McCain: Guess I need to pay Smokey a visit.
- Worker Foreman: You'll need to disguise yourself as a construction worker to use our equipment. There's spare workwear inside a locker on the rooftops over there. Good luck!

Walkthrough[]
Mission Prelude[]
After completing the previous mission, you will be in The Police Station parking lot in Cherry Tree Hills. Hop in someone else's vehicle and head to the north end of the hub to get to Auburn. Upon arriving in Auburn, head to the designated place that will appear on the east side docks to begin this mission.
Mission Walkthrough[]
At the beginning of the mission, you will see a cutscene. When the cutscene ends, hop into a nearby vehicle and head to the designated place that will appear on the northwest side of the hub. When you get there, you'll see a scene of Fuentes Goons committing crimes and one of them guarding Worker Foreman. Build a lever at the bottom of the crane and pull it to use an elevator that will take you to the top of the crane. When you reach the top, go up the stairs on the left to see Foreman in danger. Go towards the goon and he will notice you. Fight him using your combat skills and arrest him. After defeating him, Foreman will congratulate you for rescuing him and tell you what Smokey is up to. He will then tell you that you will need to wear a construction worker costume in order to use the construction equipment. For that, there will be a closet on the northwest rooftops. The yellow gate on the left will open. Go through it, build a blue diving board and press the B button to fall freely. While falling, you can grab a Super Brick to get 1,500 bricks.
When you return to the ground, go to the buildings west of the crane and climb a drain pipe on the east side of Hank's Garage to reach the rooftops. Continue to the left, climb a blue and white wall and build another blue and white wall. Climb up it, slide under a gap and walk along a blue walkway to reach the designated place. You'll see a cutscene where Smokey tells three of his goons that you're snooping. When you're done watching it, jump up to the roof with the three goons and fight them. When they are passed out, press the A button to arrest them. After defeating them, use the Police suit at a point with a police logo on the right to cross the fences to the other side. You will encounter three more Fuentes Goons. Use the same combat moves you used against the previous three to arrest and defeat them. After defeating them, open the closet in front to unlock Chase McCain (Construction) and complete the mission.
