Just Desserts is the eighth level of LEGO Harry Potter: Years 5-7. It is the second level of Half-Blood Prince.

Story[]

On the Hogwarts Express, Harry sneaks onto the Slytherin carriage with his Invisibility Cloak to spy on Draco Malfoy. Malfoy notices and closes the door in Harry's face, leaving him on the train. Luna Lovegood finds him and counters Draco's spell. Harry discovers that his used Potions textbook is full of useful notes and spells added by the "Half-Blood Prince." Using it, Harry excels in class, annoying Hermione and impressing Slughorn, who grants him a potion of Liquid Luck. Ron joins the Gryffindor Quidditch team as a Keeper and begins dating Lavender Brown, which upsets Hermione, who has feelings for him. Harry comforts Hermione while acknowledging his own feelings for Ginny Weasley. Harry spends the Christmas holidays with the Weasleys.

Diagon Alley[]

After completing the previous level, you will appear in Diagon Alley. Follow the path indicated by Nearly Headless Nick.

King's Cross[]

Hop on the Hogwarts Express to return to Hogwarts.

Hogsmeade Station[]

Main article: Spectrespecs Lesson

You will come to a closed door. In front of it, you will find Spectrespecs. Put them on and build an alarm clock with the bricks nearby. Use Wingardium Leviosa to move the alarm clock near the door and open it. Follow Nearly Headless Nick to Hogwarts and a cutscene will play.

Hogwarts[]

When you're at Hogwarts, keep following Nearly Headless Nick and you'll find a closed path.

Hogwarts Class Lobby[]

Professor Slughorn is nearby. Once again, use Spectrespecs and build two pedestals using the invisible bricks. Then, use Wingardium Leviosa to place them on the platforms - the door will open. Go through it to start a class.

Potions Classroom[]

Main article: Draught of Living Death Lesson

The Grand Staircase[]

After finishing the class, follow Nearly Headless Nick and you will reach a place that cannot be crossed due to lack of stairs. Backtrack a little and pick up the Spectrespecs. Go back to where the ghost turned and build a staircase with some invisible bricks. You will reach a red wall. Use Diffindo to destroy it and build a bell with the available bricks. Hit it and another staircase will appear. On the next floor, you will find a Weasley's box - switch to Ron and open it. There will be fireworks inside - use Wingardium Leviosa to light them. They will build more stairs. Now simply pull the rope and enter Professor Dumbledore's office.

The Grand Staircase (Again)[]

When you leave Professor Dumbledore's office, follow Nearly Headless Nick. He will take you to a closed door.

Hogsmeade Station (Again)[]

A student will stand in front of the door. A cloud will hang over the student's head, and you will have to investigate it with a Focus spell. By using the spell, you will learn that the student wants to find a spoon. You can find it nearby under the rocks. In exchange, he will offer you a key to open the lock. Then use it to open the door and get to Hogsmeade.

In Hogsmeade, follow Nearly Headless Nick until you enter a pub where you will begin this level.

Level Walkthrough[]

Pub[]

You start in a pub. You will meet Professor Slughorn, who would love to have a beer and cream. Go up the stairs to the upper floor and reach the end, a yellow duck hangs on the wall. Knock the duck off the wall and climb down to pick it up. Take the duck to the painting where the dwarf is bathing. In exchange you will receive a valve to pour the cream beer. Go to the barrel located on the right, install the valve and pour the beer. Bring some beer to Professor Slughorn, who will treat you to dinner as a token of thanks and take you to the next area.

Cleaning the table[]

Another task that awaits you is to clean the place after the aforementioned dinner. First, go to the table behind the piano and shoot it with your wand. Approach the fireplace and collect the scattered bricks; a dishwasher will be created. After that, you will have to use the Wingardium Leviosa spell and a broom to remove the remains of food from the table. Load dirty dishes into the water, use the Wingardium Leviosa spell to do so. A brush will appear. So, use it to clean the table; use the Wingardium Leviosa spell. Once the table is clear, you will move on to the final area of the level.

Dance Party[]

This time you will visit a dance party organized by Professor Slughorn. You must find Hermione, who is hiding in many places. You will find her under a lampshade - she pretends to be a lamp. Raise the lampshade using the Wingardium Leviosa spell. However, she will run further and jump to a tree with pumpkins. All you have to do is use Wingardium Leviosa to place a pumpkin in the right place. Then, go to the table in the middle of the room and use Wingardium Leviosa to lift the cauldron that was on it. It turns out that this is another place where Hermione hid. Finally, you will have to open the red curtains. To do this, you need some green bricks that Hermione drops. Pick them up and place them in the specified places. When the bricks are in the right places, move towards the curtains and open them using the Wingardium Leviosa spell to finish the level.

S means that the collectible can be obtained both in Story and in Free Play. F means the collectible can only be obtained in Free Play.

House Crests
- Gryffindor
  - (S) This crest can be received after collecting three pints and placing them on the table:
    1. To get the first one, knock down the smallest barrel on the bar.
    2. The second one is in the hiding place on the ground floor. Destroy all objects first.
    3. You can find the third one upstairs in a closet built into the wall. Cast a spell on the closet to open it.
- Slytherin
  - (F) You get this crest for returning the hat to the wizard in the picture. You will find it in the closet on the left. Use a character with super strength to open it and then use Wingardium Leviosa to return the hat to the wizard and have him give you this crest.
- Hufflepuff
  - (F) In the final area of the level, go to a balcony door and use a character with Dark Magic to open it. Once on the balcony, use Wingardium Leviosa on all the lights from left to right to get this crest.
- Ravenclaw
  - (F) In the first character token area, select Ron and use the Deluminator to move the light under the window. Build a pink pad. Switch to Hermione and take the item out of her bag. After that, you will get this crest.

Student in Peril
- (F) On the Hufflepuff Crest balcony, select Hermione to solve a riddle on the bookshelf. The creature made of bricks will save the student who is hanging behind the balustrade.

Tokens
- Madam Rosmerta
  - (F) Go through the closed door at the top. This requires Dark Magic. Jump onto the couch to get this character token.
- Cormac (Suit)
  - (F) Use the Aguamenti spell to put out the fire in the fireplace under the stairs - you will get this character token.
- Harry (Christmas)
  - (F) On the Hufflepuff Crest balcony, use the pink pad and grab a counterweight from Hermione's bag. Take it to the curtain and hang it. Build the box with Spectrespecs and use them. Use the invisible bricks to build a picture. Once it's hanging upside down over the fireplace, use Wingardium Leviosa to flip it over. Once it is placed correctly, approach it and press the action button to have the wizard in said picture give you this character token.

Unlockables[]

Madam Rosmerta, Cormac (Suit), and Harry (Christmas) can be purchased from Madam Malkin's Robes for All Occasions in Diagon Alley after collecting their Character Tokens. You will also be able to continue to A Not So Merry Christmas.
