Jabba's Palace is the eleventh level in the Nintendo DS version of LEGO Star Wars II: The Original Trilogy. It is the first level of Return of the Jedi.

Story[]
Almost a year after the events of Episode V, on Tatooine, Leia, disguised as Boushh, and Chewbacca infiltrate Jabba's Palace to rescue Han. Upon entering the palace, they rescue Luke, who is now a Jedi Knight, from some Gamorrean Guards. They deactivate three barriers protecting Han and enter Jabba's chamber, where they find Lando disguised as Palace Guard. They dodge some lasers and finally rescue Han. However, they are then captured by Jabba the Hutt, who triggers a trap that leads Luke, Leia, Lando, and Chewie (Han in version 1.1) to fight the Rancor. They defeat the Rancor by closing a door on it, but are then taken to the Great Pit of Carkoon. Leia then becomes Jabba's slave.
Walkthrough[]
At the beginning of the level, you will see a cutscene where Leia and Chewie will be inside Jabba's palace. When the scene ends, you will appear outside the palace. Go to the left side and you will see some loose pieces. Use them to build a box. Push the box to a high lever on the right, stand on it and pull the lever to reveal a control panel to the left of the palace door. Then, go to the right side, build another box, push it to the high lever on the left and pull the lever to reveal another control panel to the right of the palace door. Activate the control panels by pressing the A button while near them to open the door to Jabba's palace. There, defeat some Gamorrean Guards and approach Luke to join your team. From here, you can choose three paths. Go first to the one on the left side, the one marked with blue lights. There, go up the ramp and go to the hallway with the door on the left to reach a room. In that room, turn off three blue generators by pressing the A button. This will disable the blue barrier protecting Han in the second area. Keep in mind that when you disable a barrier more Gamorrean Guards will arrive, so be careful. Next, head to the main room and then go up the ramp on the right side, marked with yellow lights. There you will see two paths (the third does not count because it cannot be accessed). Go first to the one on the left. In that room over there, destroy two streetlights, build a box, and push it into the small square hole. Then, return to the main room on the right side, but now go to the door ahead. In that room over there, build a box and push it into the small square hole. Pushing the two boxes into the small square holes will disable the yellow barrier protecting Han. Return to the main room and head to the front door room, marked with green lights. There, go up the slope on the left side and use Luke to jump across the platforms until you reach the upper center platform. Use the Force to pull a switch and open the door below. Before going through that door, jump to the ledge on the right side, destroy some rubble to reveal a green control panel, and deactivate it to deactivate the green barrier protecting Han. Go through the door you opened to reach the next area.
In the next area, defeat three Gamorrean Guards to save Lando and have him join your team. Go to Jabba's Throne Room and you will see Han in the distance of some red spotlights. If a red spotlight catches you, you will have to restart the area. Avoid the red spotlights until you reach Han. At this point, a cutscene will play which, when finished, will take you to the final area of the level.
In the final area, you will have to face the Rancor. If the Rancor doesn't follow you, it's because it's eating a Gamorrean Guard. Defeat all the Gamorrean Guards until there are none left and the Rancor can focus on you. When there are no Gamorrean Guards left, bring the Rancor to where the door is. This can be very difficult due to the uncomfortable camera. When the Rancor is under the door, use Luke's Force to pull a switch on the right and close the door. If done successfully, the door will crush the Rancor and take a heart from it. This can be easy if the Rancor stands there eating any character other than Luke, at which point you can pull the switch in time to close the door on it. Wait until the switch can be interacted with again and pull it with Luke while the Rancor is under the door to smash it and remove another heart. Repeat this same process a total of four times to defeat the Rancor and finish the level.
Collectables[]
S means that the collectible can be obtained both in Story and in Free Play. F means the collectible can only be obtained in Free Play.
- Minikit Canisters
- (S) At the beginning of the level, go to the right side and you will see this minikit behind some rubble. Destroy the rubble to obtain it.
- (F) In the main room on the left side of the first area, you will see an Imperial panel next to the front door. Use an Imperial member on the panel to open the door and reach a special room. There, use a Jedi character to move a box and use the box to reach the ledge above. At the top of the ledge, behind a musical band, you will find this minikit.
- (S) In the main room on the left side of the first area, go down the ramp on the right and you will see a bounty hunter panel next to another locked door. Use a bounty hunter on the panel to open the door and reach another special room. There, use a double jump character over one of two light poles near the right ledge to reach this minikit. You can also use Boba Fett or Jango Fett to reach the ledge if you destroy the two light poles.
- (F) In the main room on the right side of the first area, you will see a small alcove that leads to a hallway on the right. That hallway is considered part of the area rather than a separate area, so you'll have to use MSE-6 to enter the alcove. In the room at the end of the hallway, you'll see this minikit on top of a small ledge.
- (S) This minikit will appear after pushing a yellow box into the first small square hole on the right side of the first area.
- (S) You'll find this minikit on the high ledge on the right side of the front door room, near the green control panel.
- (S) In the second area, go to the right side to find this minikit in the upper right corner.
- (S) In the second area, go to the left side to find this minikit in the upper left corner.
- (S) In the final area, go to the right side to find this minikit near some bones.
- (S) In the final area, go to the left side to find this minikit floating in the top corner. Use a Jedi Slam to reach it.
Unlockables[]
After completing the level, you unlock Jabba's Palace Luke and Lando Jabba's Palace. Leia Bounty Hunter will be unlocked after obtaining all minikits in this level. In Mos Eisley Cantina you can buy a Gamorrean Guard, Han in Carbonite and Salacious Crumb. You will also be able to continue to The Great Sarlacc Pit.

- In version 1.1, in the final area, Chewbacca is replaced by Han Solo.
- In version 1.0, it may be impossible to complete the level in Free Play when entering the second area. However, it is still possible to obtain Leia Bounty Hunter by collecting all ten minikits and completing the level again in Story.
- If the player completes this level in Free Play, they will see a cutscene that is not found when the player completes the level in Story.
